/Title says all.... Just wondering if anyone has had good results with using Cain set and MF gem in L Crown or any type of Magic find to + the legendary drop for more items..... I just cannot find a TnT = /
A good old fast run in Rift is far better than any MF gear you can have, and spend your shard on kalada that's how I got mine
Wait, what the fuck are you on o.o. You say MF isn't working, then go on to quote a post that explicitly states that MF works. Here's the direct quote to the line you need to care about:
"This means someone with 300% MF will end up finding roughly 30% more Legendary and Set items than someone with 0%."
I mean... There's quite a difference between "not working" and "gives you .1% more legendaries per point".
Not sure if i'm correct but I was under the impression that MF only provides an increase to the quality of items, e.g. if a yellow drops you have a higher chance of a 6affix yellow than and 4affix yellow.
I don't think MF increases the chance to obtain a legendary instead of a rare or rare instead of magic item. Just improves the quantity of affixes on said rare or magic item.
When was the last time you ever found a 4-affix yellow item? They removed that whole bullshit with RoS. It's been literally more than a year and you haven't picked up on that <.<?

Ros has been out for 6 months. Hardly literally more than a year. What the fuck are you on? Rares drop with 4-6 affixes all the time; are you blind or something?
If you want a specific item use Kadala. MF has at best marginal gains, and has way too hig ha buy-in to be practical. Also allied MF does nothing for your drops, so if you want MF you gotta do it yourself.
The max MF in game is like 150% now, so it's ~15% more legends over time, that's one extra legend every 3-5 rifts assuming 2-3 legends per rift. Not really worth the effort to put it together.

Why do you need to be so hostile in your post?
You're right, my mistake. I was thinking of legendaries always rolling a fixed amount of stats (you don't ID yellows anymore). And I guess it's not been a year then, felt like it. Oh well. Either way, a fuckton of time since loot 2.0 changed magic find mechanics (longer than RoS was out, obviously).
I was hostile because he linked to a post that explained that magic find does indeed work, and tries to use it as an argument that it doesn't work at all.
