maybe, but since i can faceroll T6, i kind of find it wasted to run normal bounties .. for such a low chance. better run less T6 in same amount of time and drop twice as much
A lot of people will tell you that Torment difficulties only increase your chance of getting regular legendaries, not cache only legendaries. If that's true (and I haven't seen any actual evidence supporting or denying it), then you're actually lowering your chances by running the higher difficulty because you're getting less caches-per-hour.
I got 16 RoRGs out of it and my chances is like 1.59% per cache. RNG is RNG, but I feel that persistence and efficiency is the key to obtaining this ring. Good luck!
As Mitqa calculated, 1.5% seems about right. At 1.5% drop rate, I'd expect lots of people to see them in short order as well as lots of people to take a long while to get them.
Probability is fickle and doesn't always behave the way you'd first expect. (Human intuition is sometimes misleading.) For an example, read about the Birthday Paradox on wikipedia.
OP: Anyone who has gotten an RoRG with the Junger Method would've gotten that RoRG anyway -- the Junger Method had nothing to do with it. You can argue with me all you want, but that only shows that you don't understand the fundamentals behind how this so-called method is supposed to work. Remember: If the Junger Method actually worked, it would require you to go 6+ hours without a legendary drop. You never waited that long and neither has anyone else. It doesn't work.
While what you say is true, it's still a good set of habits to follow when farming for maximum efficiency. Along with using speed items, etc.
I'm convinced that the pity timer isn't a timer at all and doesn't "kick in" after a certain amount of time, but rather resets after every legendary, starts immediately, and slowly ramps up the legendary drop chance.

Wow, how about I tag along with you when next go farming ? PM me. Am happy to reward you for your help.
-Do not kill any mobs except those required for objectives.
-Do not kill goblins.
-Do not open chests including resplendent chests.
-Do not destroy breakables (pots, barrels, looting bodies etc)
-Do not pop fortune shrines
-Do not kill mobs from required cursed chest and shrine event objectives until the timer has run out.
I do aoe mobs when running to the objective , can't help myself .
I kill all goblins
I open chests , especially resplendents , got so many legendaries doing that
I aoe those darn breakables when I can
I always pop fortune shrines
I kill all mobs before the timer runs out
I now have 14 RoRG's. I have opened 8 caches and got 2 , yesterday and the day before I opened a grand total of five each day for 2 RoRG's , even had a double drop from 1 cache got the ring and bracer . I don't think this pity timer has anything to do with cache's .
I won the lottery weekly with little effect. So can you. All you have to do is walk into a store with lottery machine and hand in your money for a ticket. Avoid
I dont trust anything I read even if it's from a "blue". I recently picked up two Tal Rasha Unwavering Glares from Kalada. Many people swear that this is impossible but that is what happened to me. This is the blue post stating it's impossibility (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12505892002?page=3#45 )
Part of me suspects the code in the RNG has become so complicated ( spaghetti ) that even the developers cannot be 100% sure of it's actual behavior. If a programmer made a change but inadvertently caused an unintentional change ( bug ), other developers would never know. They would just answer questions on forums checking the software/game spec.
Read all the forums and draw your own conclusions excluding the noise at the extreme ends. From my own expereince, getting an RORG is a painful process - certainly not as easy as some posters claim.
2 rings in 2478 bounties, wich equals arround 2 in 500, so its ~2% chance. since i havent done all in act1 it seems fine.it agree about t6 beeing better than normal, but i would rather choose the difficulty, where i can farm w/o too much loosing speed and not having the risk of dying. there is no point in farming normal when you can farm t2 with ease.
You really have no idea how math works, do you?
2 rings in 2478 bounties (let's make it 2500 for giggles) means 1 ring per 1250 (2500/2). This would mean 1/1250*100%= a 0.08% chance on a ring.
I read that you didn't do all of the bounties in A1, which means the calculation I did was very skewed in teh first place. But the thing you posted was just so off I needed to comment on it. You can't leave stuff out and guess some numbers. It throws people off.
That said, this whole method is proper tinfoil bizz. I've had plenty of rings so far, some people haven't had any. Lucky? Sure, I feel lucky. I feel sorry for the people that still haven't found theirs after these months of intensive farming. It also sucks that you can't trade the cache legendary drops. I'd love to help out a friend get one by just spamming A1 and passing him a ring if it drops.
Ive done split farming on normal, hard, ect., t1-3, the Junger rules and farming t5-6 act 1 caches since RoS came out and I have not found one ring. I can clear out an act 1 bounty run on t5 with my crusader in about 5-10mins. I have filled up bank tabs literally 100 times with act 1 caches and have 0 rings to show. RNG is RNG, junger and all aside, this ring shouldn't be in the game.
u really have a bad luck dude
as long as i played RoS. i've found 3 trifecta RoRG. 1 for DH, 1 for monk, 1 in stash and tons of non-trifecta. one of them has perfect crit n chd
Wish Blizzard would go back and wipe out their older posts with the (now) conflicting information. This one can be tough to find sometimes...

Read post #27, just three above you. What you quote is outdated information.
"This increased chance also applies to Cache-specific Legendaries, such as the Royal Ring of Grandeur. "
read post #32 and #27 not quoting april-infos for fail ^^
and indeed .. waste of our time ;D but some may learn "new" things

as previous mentioned you have a theory that sadly don't hold up.
I've opened about 100 act 1 cache's and yet to see it

about 500 of those bounty's is act 1
