x1_Community_Buff_Legendaries_0_desc - Your chance to find Legendary items is increased, including a guaranteed drop during your first hour of play.
Was just wondering if anyone else thought this might give slight weight to the "legends per hour" conspiracy people have been posting about.
I don't really buy into it myself but this string would suggest that Blizzard have the power to check if you are getting legends and if not, to give you one.
Conclusion for me: 42 minute TV shows won't do it anymore, I have to watch more HBO shows that last for an hour. Damnit.
No, seriously. First of all, we don't know what that means, it's datamined and unconfirmed. Secondly, if you're really all about maximizing efficiency just do speed rifts and you'll get way more than 1 legendary per hour. This is just a nice addition to remove extreme amounts of frustration but nothing you can ever use to your advantage, in my opinion. Even if you afk for one hour and kill one mob every hour you won't get more loot than the average rift clearing group.
Given that it's a community buff, it's most likely switched on at a particular date (e.g. D3's 2nd birthday, the start of Blizzcon, etc), and guarantees you a legendary within the first hour of getting the buff (i.e. the first time you logged in with a given character after the buff went live, not each time you log in)... basically an in-game way of gifting legendaries to players.
