Tired of constant fps drops during rifts etc (4670k@4.4Ghz+780@1.2Ghz) i was thinking can i do anything with that.
ssd is not an option for me now (no money ) so maybe ramdisk.
free version of this software allow u to make 4gb disk, is it possible to copy some files into it (or let say texture file) and force game to read this file from ramdisk?
maybe it will speed up game a little bit, maybe not.
You should be seeing no FPS drops with that kind of rig, unless it is the stuttering from the inventory and item tooltips and such. If it is that, then it is being fixed in a patch.
Also, ramdisk mostly just helps with loading times, not fps.
bridge is fubar anyway, it happens in almost every rift, 4ppl cast spells and its just mayhem but still game drop fps.
details set to very very low, or ultra high and the same. from 60 (have no idea why with v-sync i cant have 144fps cuz i have 144hz monitor) to 20 sometimes.
also i play without sound, cuz with sound is way worse
(sorry for my English)

I have a verry similar rig, with a 780, and lag in the same places.
It's most likely a glitch in the nvidia/diablo programming.
