It seems since i have leveled multiple characters to 70 i find random loot on the one that i'm playing. Since i got my crusader to 70 i find STR gear on my wizard. Now that i got my monk to 70 i'm finding DEX gear on my wizard and crusader. Anyone else having these issues? I don't want to delete my characters to find the loot that i want.....
What is the problem? Smart loot isn't always going to drop you ALL class specific gear, they've stated that was the purpose..its working as its intended. I think its a great idea and mechanic that I can still find gear that's useless to other classes. I understand the frustration if you're looking for a specific piece and it ends up being for another class, but its really not that big of a deal.
I mean really, would you prefer the old system where it was completely fucking random all the time?
as i got other characters to 70 it is random all the time.....? i find more off stat gear than i do class specific..... i think you missed the point here. Before i got other classes to 70 i found 90% class specific stats. now its like.... 15%

I Call BS on that. Get outta here with your bogus napkin statistics.

Na, its too much fun especially when people through out bullshit numbers.
He wasnt coming out with numbers as if it was fact, he's making estimates based on how he feels his drops are going.
Towards OP, I currently only have one level 70 and ive only gotten maybe 3-5 pieces with different stats out of like over 75, i think it might be their attempt at "smart loot". also i call BS on RNG, seriously its like the goto excuse for everything.

Thanks for clearing that up..I was totally mystified and yet confused by the numbers he was throwing out.
The point is, even his made up guestimates of the loot breakdown are totally off. I have 3 70's and between the 3 of them I've probably found 4-5 different class specific items out of lets say over 200 legendaries.

Okay so you are telling me to trust your "napkin statitics" and not his? your numbers are just as pulled out of a hat. Lets just all spout RNG together like every other one of these threads and laugh.

My numbers are hardly even close to a break down of 85% vs 15% but anyway.. I'm done with this thread, your not fun to talk to anymore.

4 of the last 37 drops i got were off class. 15% was a generous number. i didn't ask for you to come in here and open your vile mouth i wanted to know if this was an issue with anyone else and if not how i should personally go about it. thanks for your time. tool.
4 out of 37 is right around 11%. I believe smart loot is supposed to account for, on average, 80% of your drops. In other words, you're above average here on smart-loot.
In other words, smart loot is working exactly as designed for you, OP.
Technically you're the one that got it backwards when you said that 4/37 were "off class" (meaning, not your current class).
But now I'm pulling out the BS call. My guess is that you're considering any item that doesn't roll a main stat to be "off class." If it has Vit, Armor, All resist and a socket, that doesn't mean that it's off class. If you farmed it on a barb and it had dex, int, or any class-specific affixes, then that would count as off class and you'd be right. If, however, you're just counting those vit/other basic stat/other basic stat/other basic stat, then you're doing it wrong.
lol.... man. your backwards. .108 aka rounded 11% of the drops "are" for my class. and since i wrote that its 4/39
You're saying 4 out of 39 drops are "for" your class?
i.e. 35 out of 39 were class-specific to another class (e.g. spirit stones when playing wizard) or had off-class primary stats (str/dex gear when playing wizard)?
I'm sorry, I would have to say "screenshots or it never happened" to a claim like that.
This guy got a few off class items and now he's pissed and lies about his drops saying that basically every item he gets is off class. Nothing to see here.

I don't mean to disagree with you but , I disagree with you. There is no way you find more strength gear on your wiz then Intel gear. As far as legendary items rolling off-class, you should be getting about 10% of your legendary to roll off class. There is a new post roaming around here wit all the drop chances and stuff, on the far right is the percentage to get that item no matter what class you are, proving what you say here. Keep farming man, wish you luck!
