Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forums because of the importance of this change. I think this change will be great however, streamers will have the greatest advantage. The reason is that big streamers like ALK, kong, GiG & modz will be able to get 100+ players willing to clear torment 6 for them for bags. I'm sure they will be able to get over 200+ bags per day and would become the most effect way to get legendaries. I'm certain this will become the new chest runs for streamers.
A quick fix would require you to clear 2-3 areas in order to get the cache quest. just an idea i'm sure there is a better way to fix this problem. It would still benefit everyone without such an easy way to get legendaries
Alkazier prefers solo, Modz's avoids anything remotely exploitative, I haven't watched GiG much, so that leaves 1 "jelly factory" scrub that loves getting carried. I don't disagree with your point but you grouped some good guys in with the d-bag that abuses fans. I think the only reason they have left this clear exploit alone is that they want people to jump into public games mid-bounty and still get the loot. A better way to handle it would be to warn streamers not to do it lest they want a ban.
most of the viewers usualy arent t6 and most of the streamers barely interact with the viewers i seriously doubt this will be the issue here and if it will be an issue i honestly couldnt careless about it
I've watched Kongor one time and I don't get the hype. I don't care what streamers do but I was amazed at all the people that follow him. The guy cries constantly over "legs".
He seems pretty vapid when it comes to real, actual, intelligence. He doesn't give off a laid back presence like Alkaiser or even Kripp(not a fan of him). I had a buddy tell me if you want to see the next method of lameness ongoing in RoS than just watch Kongor for 5 mins and he'll be doing it.
Dunno, just don't get the hype of some of these guys.
The difference between chest runs and what you are suggesting is that you need lots of people to feed 1 person here, compared to something that everyone can do. Frankly, it's not worth the effort dealing with it.
I think the main difference between chest runs and this is that everyone could have done chest runs. well nearly everyone. I had sub par gear hardly doing masters and i was able to do t-6 chest runs. This however, is limited to people who have access to willing participants who are able to do t6 runs. Hell if not t6 atleast t4. I don't know much about ladders since i did not play D2 but from what i understand this seems like it would break ladders.
It's not like Kongor didn't already exhibit this type of behavior with Cursed Chests after the nerf. No more high-percentage easy-to-farm spawn? No problem! Just get my minions to hunt them down for me and I'll join their game.
Better off just not watching their streams and cutting off their supply. That's the only thing that will "fix" it really.
I agree, there needs to be a fix to the split farming. I'm not about to say something like 'cmon it's easy just fix it blizz', BUT, it does seem like it would be simple for each bounty to require a player to be next to / near when it finishes, or they don't get credit and can't game hop to get free caches.

That would cause other problems. Suppose you are farming in a group and you finished 4 bounties, and someone decides to be a jerk and do the last bounty without you. You are screwed out of the cache, then. Or, if someone joins a game and saw that a bounty is already done, should they simply leave?
Personally, I think the whole issue comes from the rewards of higher difficulty not being enough. Worst still, (from what I know) there's little to no difference in legendary drop rate between normal to master. Compare the HP amount of normal and T1. If T1 has a +100% chance over normal, then instead of 15% more per torment, it's 30%, then the incentive would be to farm harder difficulty whenever you can handle it reasonably.

There already is a fix for split runs.
If I hit a chest in a different area, a legendary for you can drop and you'd never know it unless you physically enter the zones where other people have cleared bounties and checked your map for orange stars.
Very easy to miss legendary's while split farming.

I don't think missed legendaries is a huge problem for split farming. Consider this, Player A does bounty runs by himself and it takes 10mins for 1 bag. Player A might get 1 legendary maybe 2 per hour. Whereas player B does split bounties with a full group and each member takes 10mins to clear a zone. Player B still gets 1-2 legendaries per hour and also receives 3x more loot than player A because everyone is clearing a bounty run. Now the only disadvantage to player B is that he will miss out on legendaries that he would have to zone in on.(like you said) This however, becomes minuscule after the patch because bounties will now have a chance to drop set items and increase legendaries. It would be more efficient to do bounty runs than rifts unless they were to buff rifts again. Correct me if i'm wrong but I thought rifts were the direction blizzard was aiming for. I thought i read a blue note saying they wanted rifts to become the go to for gearing
Not every1 will play the game your way, there are people right now doing super efficient stuff that we might consider bug abusing, but the fact is its dumb not to do effective stuff if you want something. I play for fun, and I dont mind other players joining my games for a free cache/crafting mat/rift or whatever it may be

I think you're misunderstanding standing my point. I agree with you not everyone will play like me or think like me. There is no argument about that. Hell i'm sure there were plenty of people here including myself that did chest runs over and over again. At the same time there were plenty of individuals who refused to do chest runs. neither side was wrong with their choices. That is not the problem which I am trying to point out. The problem resides in the way I interpret what blizzard was trying to portray. They nerfed chest runs because it was too effective and did not want diablo 3 to become Diablo 3: Chest Run Edition. That same concept would apply here. Players especially streamers (sorry im not trying to hate on streamers I watch many big streamers all the time. I stream myself here and there.) Have the opportunity to gather 100s+ players to do t1-t6 bounty runs for them. with the added changes to come this would not be streamers like them getting geared in a month but DAYS! BIS gear. I don't think that is what blizzard wants diablo 3 to go in that direction. I could be completely wrong but that is how I interpret what blizzard wants with diablo 3

who cares what others do, enjoy your damn own gameplay.
