Most people are stating that the main issue with trading of items is that third party sites will get involved, and start making money. The biggest part of these third parties' money is made through bulk; if we want a trading system that keeps the third parties at bay but still allows us to share that ridiculously awesome piece of gear with a friend, why not make, say, one item a day/week tradeable? Could make it so that an account can receive one item per day/week, and they could give away one item per day/week. This would solve the problem that most seem to be complaining about (the egregious instances when you REALLY want to give someone else a piece of gear), while still blocking out the third parties. Thoughts?
While the 3rd party notion is an issue, I personally think a good amount of people's problems with trading comes from the fact that the gear isn't "earned". While if the game stayed in its current state I wouldn't care either way, the hard fact that seasons, ladders and challenges are coming means they need to keep BoA, because players will be in DIRECT competition with leaderboards. Its not going to be fun watching the same people who buy their gear / have it fed to them by hundreds + top the boards everytime. Instead it will be those who have the most time, luck and skill, as it should be.
Therefore, I think party trading is as far as it needs to go. Hell, ill advocate for no trading at all for ladder characters.
No. The biggest issue with trading is that it creates an economy. It will FLOOD the market with items and everything will be 20x easier to get except the top of the top tier (Think AH days, because that's EXACTLY the result, just with less efficiency).
The only possible solution for Blizzard would be to nerf drop rates to pre 2.0 levels. Yay, now nobody likes the game again.
ppl talk about trade like its an obligation ... if it turns the game easy for you, just play purist like today, self found or whatever it calls ...
I like the idea of trade, trade > legs (soul), we could make good use of garbage legs trading it for legs for other classes and stuff .. I dont care about credit card characters .. there is no competition in this game ... and you willl always have the chance to play without trading ...

Because being able to trade one item per account per week (I think even per day would be fine, anyway) is really going to create this huge burgeoning economy that will make drops 20x easier to get...
I think that opening trade a little is okay. Maybe you can keep the current trade restrictions on set items but open up trading non-set pieces to members in the guild that have been on the roster for 2 weeks (or something like that). It helps those who are cursed by the RNGods but keeps the really good stuff within the group.
