I have tons of use or lose leave that must be used by the end of the year, why not use some now? Some people get more vacation than others, it's not fair, but it is life.
Also, releases at 6pm local time for me tomorrow. So I can play until I pass out and then get up and start again.
I've cancelled my boxing until Wednesday so I can experience launch day server delays. I have to negotiate some play time with my wife as she hates me locking myself away for hours on end Also, I'm a teacher so no chance of days off mid-term. But, then again, I'm an adult, I've come to "accept" that free time is not an endless commodity like it was in childhood.
Yeah, your last sentence sums it up for me as well. I had a daughter born two months ago, so I haven't even bought RoS yet, and probably won't until sometime this summer.
Much as I'd love to, I've never taken a day off from work for a video game, and don't plan to this week.
Nothing is changed or lost if I'm not on all day Tuesday. I'll still be able to roll a Crusader, I'll still be able to take my chars to 70, etc. etc. etc.
The thinking man would have taken the initiative and done something really nice for her this weekend that she really likes and knows you don't.
I spent the weekend in a hotel with my wife and we ate some great food, this was not because of the game, but I am considered highly at the moment. It just so happens that my wife has a meeting tonight so I got an unexpected shame free window of play, this is the best thing that could have happened for me.
I took Wednesday off. I'm not taking a day off just to battle server instability. I also had to negotiate with my wife as we have a three month old and all day video game benders are... frowned upon.

Congrats on the babies. I'm trying for one now, I can't see games holding too much of a priority once it happens though. I'm sure it would be a nice break nevertheless.
*Which was also my birthday, and a shitty job -.-
I don't get it.
And may the odds be ever in your favour.
