I did a forum search and couldn't find anything on the matter of crafting mats being used in the next expansion. I have been stockpiling them and wondering if i should sell them on the AH or not? any suggestions?
As well as value for current gems, and if I should stop crafting them (gems) and wait for the 2 new high end gems that will drop in-game in RoS as opposed to only be available upon crafting them right now.
Like I said, you're not the only one who asked this question in the past few days, it's really no big issue. I come back to the forums after just three hours and there are three pages of "new content" - it's just overwhelming these days, but we're always happy to help. At least you ask and care about the game, the AH sales suggest that there are many people out there who don't even know this and are wasting millions on soon-to-be useless materials... they're the real newbs ;-)

This is just an assumption but I was looking at the next training tier at the blacksmith and what not and it requires different materials to level up.
I'm guessing those same materials are required for crafting items in ROS

ModeratorThis question has been asked a couple of times every day for the past few days. The answer is: yes, there are new materials.
From level 61 on, all items salvage into new reagents, and none of the current crafting reagents will be used for any level 70 crafting.
