Stacking Pools of Reflection is crucial to maximizing your XP/hour, particularly once you reach higher Paragon levels where each pool stack becomes more valuable. In this video I show you a quick way to get a stack every 5 minutes or so.
Farm a few stacks (you can have as many as 10), then pop into your difficulty of choice and enjoy the huge XP boost. Just don't die.
I called this lol. Had a slight argument with somebody in general chat that this could be done but I never got around to trying it myself (Reset my quests) but good job and good to know it is possible. This is something definitely doable by the people who don't want to take advantage of doing quests over and over or farming cursed chest. Get 10 stacks and just play through the game.
Aren't pools capped at 250mil xp? I remember some1 saying something like that.
I don't know about that. I do know there's a 10 stack limit. I guess I'll find out. I plan on doing a follow-up video in the future to make this even more efficient (possibly in a different area as well), but need to do more testing first.
They stack at 10 but as far as I know the exp pool bonus is uncapped as its based on your current level exp needed to level. I've personally gotten past 1 billion bonus exp pool.
Ah my bad. I guess it might be worth it but if it takes like 1h for 10 pool then u need like at least 1b/lvl to get 100mil each pool instead of getting say 1b/hr. And still you got the risk of death so dont see the point.
The point is not to die. A 25% multiplicative XP gain is a HUGE buff, especially at higher paragon levels.
The point, again, is to reward players for not playing carelessly.
Since I can be that guy. Play hardcore! That way dying not only removes your xp pool but also your character. Stacking pools is a cool way to get solid xp if you think that repeating quests or crowdsourcing cursed chests is fundamentally unsatisfying.
I've been trying all kinds of different builds and skills with my witch doc, and although it isn't the most efficient its a hellova lot of fun. I just reset my quests and am playing the game straight through. Sure the story isn't the best but for me it's more fun running all different acts and quests, and killing all the different types of monsters.
But then again players can have fun doing chest runs, or the Mira run, or whatever over and over. To each his own, just my opinion.
