Players who pre-purchased RoS will get the Wings of Valor (the article emphasize both physical version and digital version counts, but didn't say which edition, I am guessing SE DDE CE all counts).
When Heroes of the Storm is shipped, players who pre-purchased RoS will also get the playable Demon Hunter for free.
There will be some kind of XP boost before RoS went live. Details to be revealed soon.

Here is a guy in KR BNET saying it's such a good deal to have the Hound+Trasnmog plans+Wings of Valor for DDE, and a blue response confirmed:
The blue:
This means: You are right. But the Wings is not for DDE only, it will be available for those who pre-purchase Digital Standard Edition too. Will have details later.
The second blue:
This basically says that CE counts too.
**I just want to share this excited news I believe is legit.
I can assure you guys the Chinese article is a Taiwan media that attended the event and write it themself, not translate from Krean, and I am confident that I've read it right.
But as for the KR blue post, I am not 100% sure into the exact words so if anyone spot any mistake or pickup anything new please share with us.
Thanks!
I fucking CALLED it look at the post discussing the wings when they were first datamind I fucking CALLED IT
I said that Wings of Valor were going to be a pre-purchase reward, for EVERYONE that upgraded their battlenet profile to Reaper of Souls before a certain date
Cool to know we'll be getting a free Demon Hunter in Heroes... Although after looking at the skills, demon hunter is pretty balls I'd prefer a free barb!
Is it just me or does this whole thing smell of being fake? I mean, I guess I wouldn't be that surprised if 2.0 launched about 3 weeks away from the expansion. But if wings were free to all pre-orders, wouldn't they have advertised that explicitly from the beginning in order to get more preorders?
I don't understand what's so amazing about these wings. But hey, I guess it's the small things that count.
Some people really like cosmetics. League of Legends and DotA make a crapload of money out of those every day
I can completely understand that. Just a bit... seems foolish to pre order a game just because one one cosmetic item. But then again, I'm not an owner of a multi - billion dollar corporation.
I'll be honest, like most people, I've been figuring March 18, when the AH closes, would be the most reasonable time to push the 2.0 patch live. However, in all that figuring, the one thing that hasn't gelled with me is that it'd be only one week between the patch and the expansion. Some of the blues said that they give, on average, two weeks and two months between a pre-expansion patch and the expansion itself, so that one week time frame never really seemed right.
Then again, I think on the news blurbs today or yesterday, the official site made mention of updates coming next week regarding kinda the exit strategy of how the Auction House is going to close, what's going to happen to items in the queue, things like that. Plus, that tweet in the news blurb did say...2.0.1 is right around the corner. People can poke fun at that with Soon(TM) jokes all they like, but...Blizzard has gotten a lot better about that, at least in Diablo terms.
They say soon...it could be as early as a few days or a week out.
I can't tell if this info is legit or not, but...tops, we're looking at a month for the expansion. My question is...if the patch goes live before the AH officially closes down, what will happen to the AH in-game between the patch and shutdown day? Maybe there will be a button to access buys and sells, and maybe only items put up on the AH before the patch can be allowed to stay there, and transactions can continue to be made until they're all done?
I mean...would they let people buy and sell Loot 2.0 items on the AH before it gets shut down? Granted...yellow, blue and white items are fully tradeable, but why allow people to get used to making transactions with updated gear only to shut the AH down a couple weeks later?
Sounds rhethorical, apologize for that...I'm just curious is all.

Yeah, as I said, I was wondering what will happen then with the AH since there will be new loot to sell, etc.
There are 2 reasons I've long thought that the patch *could* be released prior to the AH shutdown:
New Sets/Legs can't be sold on the AH because of BOA.
ROS is incoming, so the 2.0 blues/yellows that are found will be easily replaced with level 70 items for those who upgrade.
That leaves a couple of weeks for non-ROS bound people to trade iLvl 60 rare items. The question is, is it worth delaying the patch to prevent that? It's hardly going to matter, since sets/legs are likely to be BIS for most slots even in D3V post patch, so most of what people will be looking to upgrade to can't be traded via AH. While it is a bit odd to allow people to use the AH for a couple of weeks post patch, and then remove it, it also makes no truly logical sense to deny people to play 2.0 on live if it's ready to be "shipped".
*Edited to add*
Another thing that slipped my mind earlier is that it's also possible to deny items that drop post patch from being placed on the AH at all. They'd show up much like the BOA crafts do now in the AH window. This way, legacy gear is still tradable, but new gear remains constrained by the trade mechanics of the future.
Not to split hairs, but I'm not really sure we can accurately determine "pre-purchase" vs "pre-order" from someone's unverified Korean translation.
However, I'll be the first to admit, I could be totally wrong. The proposed patch date is very plausible given all the reasons people have suggested. However, I'm having trouble recalling a previous time where blizzard included an extra pre-order/purchase bonus that wasn't explicitly stated at a product announcement. If Blizzard is anything, it's methodical to a fault. Extras are announced because extras make people pre-order/purchase.
In summary, this Korean post is just reasonable enough to be believable. But if it turns out to be a hoax, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
I'm guessing you will, Beryy. I remember when they offered the Infernal Helm for everyone who pre-ordered D3 on the console, but the helm came with the game way after it was released.
Sorry for being a little bit confused, but if I understand it right then it means everyone who pre-ordered/purchased the CE or DDE even if its not from battle.net, they will get this yellow wings (which called wings of valor if I got it right) and the other stuff which was mentioned with CE and DDE. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I wanna make sure and dont hope for something which wont come in the future.
There's absolutely no details other than this vague Korean translation. It's not been officially confirmed at all by Blizzard. But I do find the fact that Blizzard hasn't denied this post yet (when it's been available all afternoon) to be very interesting.....
So don't know if the translation is correct, but he's definitely in Korea and saying things.
That definitely corroborates an important part of the story. Hopefully the translations are correct and it's not some Korean region only gimmick with their local equivalent of Gamestop or whatever. :-)

Not gunna lie that is a possibility... But I don't think blizz would make something as epic as Imperius' wings region specific... Would cause way to much agro.
Well, the wings of valor thing was confirmed, so half of this announcement is already reconfirmed. I guess like i keep arguing before, you cant be sure that they will release the patch or not before the AH shut down, they never said anything to make us believe it was a factor. Theories are just theories.

*2 weeks for 2.0?
*Wings for everyone who pre-purchased RoS?
I'm exited!
Btw, if it is in fact true, that means 2.0 will be live within 2-3 week from the AH being shut down... That will be interesting!

Guess will have to wait for a Blue answer!
