i dont think u can wear this item without expansion it shows level 44 butt it still expansion item
You can equip it. I dont have beta but have a few of those type of items on the ptr.
Yes, but that's because the PTR and the RoS beta are in the same server. If you don't buy RoS, these items won't drop for you in the live game.
True, but it seems like the OP believe there will be some kind of market for this kind of items with 3rd party site. Just for the record OP, thats an average RoS rare with -level on it. Its the kind of gear you can give to friends while they level up, it will litter your bags, i doubt anyone is gona pay for these lol. At least not in an amount that would warrant 3rd party use, the market will be flooded with these average rare pretty fast after release.
This is one of the things that bugs me SO much about D3.. They've just taken a big piss on the whole leveling process. I enjoyed it alot in D2 and i think it should be a more important part of the game. But i guess things change
Can you elaborate on that thought?
You mean it's gotten easier? You consider it meaningless? Because of items like that (hence the player is way too OP)? You think it takes too long? Or too little time?
why would anyone want to pay for this? If you have money to buy this, why not just buy a expansion? It doesn't make any sense.
If reduce level requirement is a bug property, why bring it up now? isn't it there in the game all the time? or, Level 44 character using a highest level gear before expansion is totally OK, but it somehow become a big deal when expansion comes out? I just don't get it.

I can actually understand his concerns. Leveling my new wizard on US without any help (thanks for pushing me a few levels!) is a pain in the ass. It's just super slow and boring, especially once you've touched RoS and adventure mode it just such a drag to play through the story 3 times, 50% of which feels like waiting for quest dialogs, cut scenes and other crap to finish. No Hellfire Ring makes it very slow on early levels, and you only have a very very limited arsenal of spells available which just doesn't make it a really enjoyable experience. The problem is just that you know that at level 60 absolutely everything will change instantly. Levels 1-59 are just not fun for me (I realize there are people who might enjoy this, but I'm not one of them.) I'm just aware that every build I try, every item I equip, every item I find will be absolutely useless come level 60.
Not sure how to solve this problem or if there's a solution at all. But it's a fact that leveling in D3 is in fact quite meaningless. But since it's only 1% of many player's playtime, I can see why they didn't focus on it a lot.
I thought his post was directly related to the weapon posted in the first post, Bagstone. I wanted to know if he feels that waybecause of a lvl 70 weapon being accessible at lvl 44~
I wasn't even thinking about the leveling process on its own (without RoS weapons and the new stuff being counted). I can agree with some of what you said, it feels a bit slow. And yes, the broken builds/items in the end-game kinda ruin it as well.
But after the MP changes, I've been able to level up a character from 1-60 in about 9-11 hours, not even trying too hard or spending too much gold (Leoric's, earlier sockets in weapons, etc.), so I actually think leveling characters is faster and a bit more enjoyable overall than D2. I don't know, doesn't matter much right now so close to RoS, though.

Did you use a Hellfire Ring and high-levels gems though? That makes a huuuuuuge difference. I just noticed that on US where I don't have access to either of those (unless I AH like I hell which I don't want to).
And it is a concern more than ever because some players want to get all classes to 60 to prepare for RoS. Of course, leveling in RoS will be much more enjoyable (crafting actually makes sense, there's the Mystic, and there's adventure mode) but until then, it's not fun. However, there is no point in fixing this now, on that we can agree. But it is broken and I personally find leveling chars to be way more painful compared to D2.
Yeah, I used high lvl gems (not marquise, but definitely higher than Flawless Squares)
Hellfire Ring I only used after my 3rd or 4th character, can't remember. I never really benchmarked anything, I only looked at "time played" after finishing the level up process. Let me know how fast you did it when you're done
Even starting fresh I think you can still buy some Flawless Square gems on the AH after farming for some minutes, and (starting on lvls 12-15, when you get sockets) you can level up on MP 4-6, which is pretty fast.
"And it is a concern more than ever because some players want to get all classes to 60 to prepare for RoS."
This seems like an odd concern to me. Maybe I'm missing why it's important to have these 60s before RoS (starting paragon maybe?). Paragon leveling in campaign is actually pretty satisfying on the PTR right now with "Reset Quest Progress".
I've abandoned the Vanilla live game because of the levelling, so I agrre on that point. They really upped their leveling game in RoS.
I'm not saying it's important to have these 60s before RoS - in fact, quite the opposite, leveling will be much more fun in RoS. But there's not much to do on live right now; except for paragon leveling everything is pointless, and paragon leveling is quite boring for some of us (I can't be arsed to even get to 80). I know quite a few people who don't have all classes up to 60 and are just like "maybe before the AH goes down, I should get one of each to 60 and equip them to be able to level any class to 70 come RoS".
Blizzard are locking trading to only trade between players in the current session.
But I doubt anyone would go through the hassle of 3rd party sites, these items are so easy to get (Kadala + Mystic)
Wow, that is quite the twink item!
When you play on PTR, it says you do not have Reaper of Souls. Yet you still get these drops...

Good one for lower lvls and cool name for item btw ! ^^

nice drop but still...
1. Everyone can enchant a weapon with this stat in RoS.
2. Enchanted items are BoA, so no 3rd site madness.
