Right now on the PTR the hardest difficulty is Master and obviously it's too easy for people who are geared for Mp10 farming in vanilla.
A PTR player can accept an invite from a beta player to a campaign mode game on Torment difficulty so that means that it does not require any additional content to be downloaded. The only problem that occurs is when a PTR player tries to join an Adventure mode game and gets a message that says something like "You can't play this content blah blah".
Now, i'd like to thank Dukey for linking this https://twitter.com/Diablo/status/370280976716283904
That was before Rifts were actually called Rifts, but it clearly states that they will be in game without the expansion (patch 2.0.1). If Rifts are in game, then it means that Adventure mode is too right? Since you have to complete bounties on Adventure mode in order to gain access to the Rifts.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like we are either going to get it all or get nothing. Right now, we basically got nothing but i hope that the current state is only there for testing reasons and that they will add the additional content soon enough to be tested on PTR for patch 2.0.1.
What do you guys think? could it be that Blizzard are pulling a huge scumbag move to completely kill the D3 vanilla? If that's the case, then why bother with patch 2.0.1 at all?
You should make that poll use radio buttons, not check buttons ;-)
I think they will add everything eventually, but the pre-expansion patch will be like on the PTR right now. Once RoS is out for a few months, or maybe on RoS release, they might add Torment, Rifts, Bounties, and Adventure Mode to D3V. It gives them more time to tweak all that stuff before putting it on live servers.
Sorry Jamoose, can't delete that right now. first world forum problems...
You might wanna just make a disclaimer telling people to vote on the second poll, and letting them know they should ignore the first one.
