So IF this is true we could see PTR out in a week or two (worth noting that there is a 10hr maintenance tomorrow night) with 2.0 going live late febuary/very early march and closed beta invites coming out within a month. Of course this is just my wishful thinking but fingers crossed.
No idea if this is legit or not but a lot of us have speculated that loot 2.0 patch will drop the same day or same week as March 18 auction house shut down day, with RoS coming a week after since Blizz expansions generally come 1-2 weeks after an update patch.
It's probably real however Blizzard probably won't announce it until next month. The last few years they have not made release date announcements until exactly two months before the date. Jan 25th is a Saturday so it may come the 24th or not until the 27th, but I wouldn't expect official word until then.
Also, it hasn't been officially announced yet. Just like the ladder, or devils hand ;P. So since there has been no announcement the date could change. I'm not trying to be a party pooper here I just like to remind people to keep their expectations in check. I hate reading threads of people complaining about things that were never announced not being released.
Well this would defiantly be awesome considering there was a blue post pretty much confirming that blizzard betas are only for testing what's already in place, I.E most likely nothing new will be added for launch. Which of course would make sense if launch is 3 months out and they've just got to polish what's already in beta.
The mystic seems really solid so probably not a lot left to change there.
Apart from polish, act 5 seems finished.
Same with the crusader and the vanilla classes.
I haven't seen any problems with adventure mode.
Bounties and rifts look good as well., also loot 2.0.
All that's left is number balancing for classes, fixing OP legenaries, and tweaking rewards for bounties and rifts. I think thats more than doable in 3 months.
I Paid €60 for 4 acts and 5 classes and 2 artisans.€40 for 1 act , 1 artisan and 1 class and MAYBE and thats a big maybe adventure mode, because they are discussing whether they add it to the pre patch or not. Thats too much imo. All other additions are not features of RoS, they are added within a free patch for all d3 players.
If they add the challenges and Devilshand and ladder system, which they are currently alpha testing, then €40 would be a fair price.
Please let's not get into this dumb debate again. Using your premise, everyone should be outraged at WoW's expansions, because the original only cost $60 and they got NINE classes and 1-60 leveling! That mindset is just ridiculous. To echo others 'if you don't like it, don't buy it'.
