@istzod Apologies I was mainly referencing some points Dead made about 3rd world countries, I thought you had agreed that 3rd world countries could and should benefit from a RMAH type game.
First point you bring up I don't really get it.. No really please explain in more detail from I thought the point of botting was looting BIS gear and selling for Real money. Gold botting is different and I wasn't talking about it. I was talking from a purely botting-for-items perspective. I also don't get how lowering the drop rates to maintain an equal rarity among items is DRM?
Second point you bring up, isn't really valid yet. At first I thought there would be no economy because there'd be no trading, in any meaningful way at least, and the supposed drop rates in numbers seemed way too damn high. But after watching streams it seems pretty fair and they're only reducing it once the game goes live so I'm holding judgement till I play but it seems to be moving in the right direction. They still haven't adress the trading issue though, which kind of upsets me!
Now to your last point no I don't assume that all children from the poor countries are as poor as the poorest, but I also don't assume I am as rich as the richest, nor does it matter when talking about a 3rd world country where literally everyone is poor. In a 3rd world country setting it wouldn't just be a few families that are this poor it'd be the majority of people. And even if they pooled money together the ring leader would take well more than a majority of the cut and dish out minimal pay anyway, It's how this world works there will, and I really mean there will ALWAYS BE DOUCHEBAGS who live off other peoples work. It's human nature to one-up. I'm not saying it couldn't work but you'd have to go into it with a group that you're familiar with and that won't fuck you.

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
While selling stuff I found on the RMAH was the "most fun" thing I did in D3 for a while, I STILL have to attribute that mostly to D3's lack of challenging content rather than farming loot actually being that fun. Regardless of the thousands of dollars I got from drops, and the thousands I got from flips, I'd rather have had none of that, and have a well made properly balanced game instead.
Basically, the RMAH is good when the end-game sucks (or doesn't really exist).
Which also means, either RoS gets it right and the gameplay itself is good, or it's going to see even less players than in the current version of D3 a couple months after launch.

Never said that. I just said what my observations were on this. I do not support the idea of AH in this game at all.
