Hello guys I am curently playing the ps3 version and a barb joined my game, I inspected his gear and he had a 19 000 dps spectrum with 3 socket , a ring with 3 socket 600 all stats and 10 000 - 20 000 cold damage on it.
Anyone ever looted similar item or this is hacked item ? He was standing at 1.2m dps unbuffed ...
Seriously.....
I saw another dude complaining in the bnet forum about someone joining his game (in PS3 D3) and giving him a 3-socket Azurewrath, which he accepted as legit.
Does anyone know anything about this game? There's only one weapon with more than one socket, and that's Manticore (xbow) - it has TWO sockets.
So, if you see a weapon with more than 1 socket and it's not a Manticore (with 2 sockets), then it's hacked.
Jeez, do some freakin' research. I suppose it's easier to ask than it is to find the answer yourself.
Rant over.
I guess you failed your reading exam, I asked if anyone ever found an item like this , could be a game bug. Take a chill pill, leave your comp and go outside, u so mad bro

How could anybody find items like these ? Clearly the stats are hacked. 10-20k cold damage ? What affix would that be please ? ^^
Did you honestly, at any time, think they were the result of a bug? I don't even own the console version and I'm struggling to understand how someone could be THAT gullible.
There was a bug if you equip a specific set of item it would increase your character base stats permanently .
So dont tell me : did you really think that ?
It could have been a sort of bug glutch , no coding is perfect, stop doing your 'i know everything' you just are stupid doing so.
Vingor just go to bed... seriously, anyone can see those are hacked items... you are ignorant and on top of that you come here to offend ppl that are willing to help your uninformed ass... sad indeed.

Well when you join a public game or join a game with your friends and everyone around you is using hacked items and killing monsters 10x faster than you, that isn't very much fun. It's almost akin to the problem the auction house caused for self-founders; it created such easy access that self-founders might be proud of their own progress but were so drastically further behind auction house players that even if they were intrinsically proud of their own accomplishment many of them were frustrated within the scope of the multiplayer experience.
Playing the game in a multiplayer setting is more than just about what you are doing. It matters in relation to what is happening around you, that's the whole point of multiplayer. What your friends are doing, what people in public games you join are doing, what people who fast track to the top are doing, it is all relevant. Is it the primary influence to your multiplayer experience? No. But it is still relevant and hacked items taint that experience for many players. It's harder to enjoy yourself when you want to play a game with your friend and he just 1 shots all the monsters on MP10. It's harder to enjoy the items you've legitly acquired and feel proud of those items when hacks flood the market. Impossible to enjoy? No. But definitely harder.
The console version solidifies the fact that an offline mode can taint the multiplayer experience, which many people do cherish and want above all to be left unharmed as much as possible.
I'm not really arguing for one side of the other, just pointing out that everyone plays for different reasons and that has to be acknowledged. I don't think there is a solution for this that pleases everyone.

Not true. Most self-founders that I've talked with dislike the AH not because of what you stated, but because it impacted their own gameplay experience, due to Blizzard adjusting drop rates and itemisation to fit with the existence of the AH. It has nothing to do with comparing ourselves with other people. I don't really give a crap what everyone else is doing, just as long as I can have fun playing in my own way (which isn't a weird way to play - finding your own loot).
I know that you don't give a crap... but I think many players do. I've talked to many self-founders and found that they do struggle with feeling somewhat inadequate by such a large margin because of the Auction House. So it is all anecdotal, but I do agree with the point you're making.
That has to at least be acknowledged as that's the entire point of multiplayer, coexisting with other players around you. I know there's no offline single player experience to fall back on if you don't want to be a part of that, but I don't think a solid multiplayer experience and solid offline single player experience can truly coexist, so I think what we have now is a fair compromise.
Like I said, no solution is going to make everyone happy and everyone plays for different reasons so this is what we ended up with. A fairly dupe free multiplayer experience and people who want to play single player still can but they have to do so online. It's what we got and as someone who enjoys doing both I think it's a fair trade off even though I know some won't agree; but that is the nature of things when so many variables are in the mix.

if it was legit, you would have seen people posting it all over the forums pertaining to new item changes.

Duping, cheating, hacking is the price you pay for offline mode.
But yea the items you speak of are clearly hacked.
yes it's on pc too
