1- reduce the damage taken by all characters by 75% when PvPing.
2- introduce a hostile button that both players have to click in order to engage PvP in any area of the game
think athene asked about pvp in the interview he did with josh. either he avoided the question due to not wanting to spoil it before blizzcon or they generally haven´t put any effort into pvp due to other stuff.
i really don´t care about that whole pvp thing, aint gonna be balanced anyway.
but it does seem strange if t hey left it out completely
1.35 to 2.10 in the video
Yeah I just watched it, kinda sad, how can they been possibly ''experimenting'' with PvP since 2011
either he is lying and they didnt work on it at all or they gonna announce something big before the expansion.

...would fix it?.
if the game is no longer pay to win or there pvp gear on top of that, yes, it would be enough.

This game's been pay 2 win since fucking D2 vanilla. Get over it.
Back then we didn't really have a single good action-oriented player versus player experience, let alone one with RPG elements (neutral minions that can be "farmed" and item progression/crafting). We didn't have a strong competition in this gaming genre. We didn't have any baseline standards, so we were happy with whatever crap we got. Gaming was still in its baby steps.

Nox and Throne of Darkness
Yeah I played those a bit (not as much as D1/D2, TitanQuest or Darkstone).
Nox had some pretty cool ideas and was a solid game, but it wasn't a very popular franchise. The production values were kinda "meh" back then too. I remember seeing lots of bugs. But the worst was having to search for a match for 30 minutes (sometimes up to an hour). Games like Age of Mythology would find a match for me in 30 seconds.
Developers didn't think that genre would lead anywhere, otherwise that IP wouldn't have died. Throne of Darkness was just bad, jeez, don't even bring that one up.
