Just ran all of Act 2, I noticed there was a change, but NOT big enough. I personally would like to see more mobs in areas like Road to alacranus, the dungeons in ALL of act 2. Turn up the heat on act 2, please!
Also, act 4 is just a mess. The density may have been turned up, but the amount of elite mobs is still low. Basically, you put more of the kinds of mobs that nobody likes to fight in act 4.
Either increase the reward of farming act 4 by doubling or tripling the elites, or crank down the difficulty of the mobs.
There's also a reddit thread about monster density on /r/diablo, and I know the devs are reading it (as they requested feedback). Here's the link if you guys want to leave your own feedback on it.
Do you think this can help to get the game with a lot of fun?
Can't think of a single person who wouldn't play with Monster Density at 1000%.
That's the major problem with a Monster Density "slider" - Monster Power obviously has downsides in that you can get in over your head. Monster Density doesn't really come with that drawback. Furthermore, increasing Monster Density would be the #1 way to increase your drops to the point that Monster Power would be secondary - you'd only farm the MP you could handle with max density. That leads me to conclude that a set density is the way to go.
I've run VoA a couple of times now in the ptr, doesn't seem to have changed that much.
VoA already had ridiculously high density - you could argue it had better density than most of Act 3, just that the rest of Act 2 sucks badly. I would venture a guess that you will not be seeing any kind of increase to VoA.

I figured as much. Desolate Sands seems pretty all right now with density, makes it worth clearing things up till you get to VoA. I wonder if Cavern of the Betrayer got buffed, too, though - anybody know?

And probably at the MP they can one-shot stuff at maximum MF (infinite legendaries for people who can one-shot MP 4-5 stuff?).
I would, I honestly feel that the density wasn't improved enough in 1.08 PTR. Act one still feels very spacey compared to act 3. Lets make use of all this space, its the end game after all, I want some serious battles going on. I think they need to double the density from what they increased. I also think that a density controller would be absolutely bad ass, or if density automatically scaled with each monster power. Otherwise, you'd have people making insanely dense MP0 for leg farming (it would get out of hand pretty quick) but if it scaled with MonsterPower I think that would be the shit!
Based on previous blue posts I don't think blizzard would ever add being able to select monster density. It seems to go against many things they have said it the past such as not wanting players to feel forced to play on mp10 or forced to farm act 3. I think they would view it as "forcing" players to play on 1000% density or whatever it may be.

GRRRR, didn't mean to thumbs-up this one. Fat-fingered the quote button!
If that's how you feel, I'd suggest you give feedback directly to Blizzard - that is what the PTRs are for. However, they said they felt that the general Act 3 farm routes were going to be the baseline for density. So unless you truly feel that Act 3 needs double density and can make a good argument for that, I'm not sure that will gain too much traction with the devs.
