i guess after the buffed legendary items start trickling onto the AH, the rates for the current godly legendary items will drop and for poor players like me, i can have some fun
I love this changes. I was already having fun still, but now it will more interesting to play. I wish i'm luckier when it comes to legendaries. Still got only 2 crappy ones since release..
I think they need to rethink how they are changing firewalkers, monks will now be biased towards fire resistance because of the added molten damage, high dex (300) and gauranteed fire/elem resist.

That was my thought as well with those. They look really awesome, but if you're a monk with any other resist you have to either drop the high dex / awesome proc or just drop the 40-ish resist. Will wait to see just how high the dex can roll before I would even begin to consider getting a whole new set for fire res though >.<

Monk is my main and I wouldn't bother switching resists. As has been said fire is already a higher valued resist and trying to find all new gear is a waste of time/money. Even if I found these boots post 1.04 I would just eat the loss in resist off my current boots. Plus with the affix changes it seems very likely that the fire based affixes are going to see a pretty decent damage reduction.
As far as this blog goes, I am very impressed. It certainly seems like they are going to get Legendary items right this time. If the class blogs are half as exciting as what we have seen so far, 1.04 is going to be a success.
Hopefully (and the blog doesn't seem to directly address this) they have removed most, if not all, of the random affixes on Legendaries and Sets.
I know one of the biggest points of frustration for players was getting, say a Tal Rasha's neck with Str and Dex, but not with Int. It was also a contributing factor to why Legendaries sucked - they were so rare, yet they suffered the same randomness as any yellow. I'd love some clarification on this.
