Im fine with the drop chance of ilvls im getting 3-4 ilvl 63 rares per hour which is reasonable, but the random affix budget is way absurd... i mean getting regularly 200dps ilvl 63 weapon is facepalming to the extreme. I suggest they implement some minimum stats budget to of ilvl 62-63 to minimum dps of >500. Also seeing a rare archon piece dropping is a wonderful sight, after right clicking is entirely opposite.

I completely agree. I farmed ZK and Belial about 10 times during the weekend, saw plenty of ilvl62 and 63 items but all of them were worthless. As I said in some other threads, it would be nice if they remove useless affix e.g. thorns, +hp health globes, and even pick up radius. Also don't roll int on DH quivers or barb belt, don't roll str on WD helm or WZ source stones...
If they make it so that 1 out of 100 items you found is worth something, that's barely enough incentive for people to keep going. As it stands now, we're probably closer to 1 out of 1000...
So what would you prefer? That 1 out of 50 items are awesome? Do you have any understanding at all what that would do to the game as a whole?
The only way they could have awesome items drop more often, is if they'd remove the AH. Some players would prefer that I'm sure, but it's obviously not gonna happen.
You generally will not have good drops. If everyone does, who will go AH let alone RMAH. Blizzard gets a cut in RMAH U know,so no way blizz is going to enhance the drops. Like author I only have one item i use which was from my own farming. My serious gamer friends who play this game almost 24 hours have better results but considering their time spent...... not worth it IMO.
I play D3 sparingly now (trying rakanoth) because there are seriously better games out there than to farm act 1 or 3.
The only benefit I c from d3 loot system is there is an opportunity for casual gamers to make money. But I don't play games for that reason.

I did not say awesome. I said not worthless. There is a huge difference.
The worth of an item is directly related to drop rates. If they made better items drop more often, what's considered top gear today would suddenly become average. An item worth 2 mil today might become worth 100k awfully fast.
Everyone are on an even playing ground. If they upped drop rates, you wouldn't suddenly become rich (relative to other players, which is of course all that matters). Only thing that would happen is that our characters would find themselves better geared faster and cheaper, which makes the game "end" faster.
My point with this rambling is that it doesn't matter if they increase good drop rates by 5% or 30%. Both situations simply lead to a shorter game, which is in noones interest. And in both situations, players will still find things to complain about. Maybe you'd be happier, but the next guy that liked how it was will now be unhappy.
