This is not the place for you to unleash your rage (in case you got any) of Diablo 3. The game game is not perfect, people know that. I created this thread so the community can post good suggestion on how to make the game better.
Imo there are three things that would make D3 an vastly, more enjoyable game.
1. The item cathegory system is not working. I think in the end Blizzard did not knew execly why items should have different colour names..
It's a psychological stimulus that players enjoy. When you drop something golden/green after droping yellow and blues for such long time, you kind feel like you own a mini lothery. Except that you mosts cases in D3 you don't, and thats the problem.
Blizzard argued that the hardest and more rewarding items are top tier rares, not uniques. This do not "solves" the bad simulus droping items have in the game. You're still dropping golden/green that means little to your character and to your pocket. And since those are really rare, it's kind frustrating this happen.
My suggestion: make legendary/sets easier to drop. Since functionaly they are no better then rares i see no reason why they are a billion times harder to find. It only makes the item hunting process a bit frustrating.
2. The game needs a ladder. People are spending so much time progressing in inferno because it's the first time they're doing it. I mean, as soon as you have one character farming act 3/4 inferno, get more character on that point will be a piece of cake since they will trample act 1/2 by using the act 3/4 gear you can afford.
D3 is the kind of game that needs the economy being reseted all the time. I seriously can't see a large community playing D3 for many years as they played D2. Unless they add DLC content.
3. The journals/bestiary needs a new interface.
A forth thing:
4. The difficulty should be more balanced between thrash mobs and packs. I mean make thrash mob's ability much stronger in hell/inferno and balance the pack's affixes a bit.
Maybe this is just me, but I would LOVE a "run" button. I usually use shift (remapped to space bar) to stay still and cast, but there have been times when I'm trying to make a quick escape and I can't because there are so many enemies on screen that all it does is cast my left click at them. Almost always, this results in death.
I'd really like to see the option to make characters on a server with no AH at all. I know that I don't have to use the AH if I don't want to, but Bashiok has stated that they take the fact that there's an AH into account when determining drop percentages; I'd rather play somewhere that makes it a little easier to farm my own stuff, and encourages more player trading. However, I'm really not all that upset by it, and I use the AH all the time because it's convenient. It'd just be cool if there was an option.

Nah, you're not crazy or inept, just a little ignorant. By that I mean, there IS an option to bind a key to "force move" which lets you run no matter what you click on; you just have to set it in the gameplay options.

1.) Set + Legendary items need buffed. If they are rarer than the rest they obviously should be more powerful than the rest. The amount of randomness needs to be lessened because sometimes you can roll a completely worthless Legendary and that's just depressing. They can still be random to a point but it should be from a set pool (of good attributes). Thankfully they are already working on buffing these items but sadly, they don't seem to agree with the fact that Set + Legendary items should be more powerful than more plentiful items.
2.) Inferno damage needs to be evened out. Strategy goes out the window when all you do is get 1 shot (which happens to ranged classes in Act 2+ Inferno no matter what your gear is). Thankfully, they're working on this as well.
3.) Good lord, fix the AH issues. Why does it take so long to list/purchase/search for an item sometimes? It's so clunky. I really wish they'd allow you to cancel an Auction so that you can remove the item if you get undercut by tons of people after you list it. Instead, you have to waste 1 of your 10 slots for 2 days!! Adding a 4th category to search would help a ton as well.
4.) Tighten the ilvl drop range for items in Inferno. Inferno should not drop lvl 50 gear. The floor should be lvl 55 at least. Also, the later acts SHOULD NOT drop gear lower than 60 at all. If you're in Act 4, lvl 50 gear should not drop anymore... it does though.
Thankfully they're working on the first 2 issues. Issue #4 really annoys me though and I don't think they'll fix it.
1 more thing to fix is the affixes. There are quite a number out there which are completely useless as far as I can tell. And Legendary Affixes are kinda lack luster as well.
But whatever they do, DON'T TOUCH GAMEPLAY. It is so damn addictive and awesome right now. Any better and I might start missing work, and worse and I'll be a sad panda.
