On my WD, I managed Act I Inferno relatively well. Act II I died way too much for comfort, where regular monsters will 2-3 shot me and elites essentially 1 shot me. Act III is the same.
I think I just built my character wrong, I focused on high INT, VIT with decent armor but it's not even close to where I need to be. I'm thinking now that I need to focus on those 3; INT, VIT, Armor as well as + all resists? Then use a shield and run with survival passives? Because I'm just tired of dying over and over.
Right now I have about 39,000 health, approx 230 to all resists (this seems to be my weakest point) and about 3900 armor (because WD's don't get near armor passives like the barb and monk, or amazing armor spells like the Wizard). When I equip my shield, I have over 5200 armor and 40,000 health, which seems pretty good for a caster but it just doesn't help.
Will + all resists fix my problems or am I missing something here? Any suggestions on players actively farming Acts III and IV Inferno would be appreciated.

Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness,
Bringing torment and pain to others.
Your damned soul wallowing in your sin.
Perhaps... it is time to die.
I have been stacking resis armor strengh int and vit , i still need a few good peice with it when im all geared up we all shall see . All i know is my and my friend b arb managed to clear most rare pack in a2 in inferno tonight ( id say a good 80% of em ).
With his buff i had almost 1k all resis and 4.2k armor and i was not getting 1-2 shot at all . I use a standard VQ bear build with big badd voodoo and fetish army that i pop on rare to burst em down ( dont even need VQ for trash tbh ) .
Without the barb buff tough im alot more squishy but like i say i still need few peice of gear with beter armor int vit and resis.
You can also stack defensive abilities or passives that reduce damage.
I'm running
Zombie bears, horrify, spirit walk, soul harvest, pigmy army and big voodoo. The horrify works wonders with the 24 yard glyph. Or you could swap for mass confusion but I prefer the smaller cd
This goes without saying but it is a vision quest build.
