I am curious if anyone is able to tell me if an enemy killing itself via thorns nets experience for the player.
It may just be the sleep deprivation speaking but if thorns or damage reflection skills do not grant experience, in the long haul to 60 one would be better off to avoid said modifiers, skills and rune benefits.
It's not like I will be stacking thorns but should a few items have the modifier and an enemy dies of its own attack will you loose out on the experience? Over the course of 59 levels an enemy not granting experience every few minutes does add up, especially with + experience bonuses.
Any thoughts or a conformation would be greatly appreciated.
yes it does. in the beta (like many people) i built a full thorns barb to wander around and have every mob one-shot themselves on me and i still gained experience and everything
