I know they make amazing games, but I never quite trust Blizzard not to screw something up or be unprepared. So I am definitely skeptical (but crossing my fingers!) about the servers.
I'm being hopeful because the last few blizzard releases were solid but given all of the massive troubles they had any time they'd patch the beta.... I have some pretty strong doubts.
Europe/asia will be the test subjects America should be fine after that
This, honestly. Having nine hours between the EU and US releases will allow Blizzard to make fixes - or at least conceptualize fixes - for the US servers to prevent whatever may affect the EU servers.
Though I don't see the EU servers having many problems. The last two Blizzard launches weren't that bad, actually.
I'm guessing it will be fairly good.
cata was a fairly solid release, login issues were rampant, so we can assume logging in will be the hardest thing, not so much latency.
Hopefully they have learned from their Diablo 2 mistakes.
Though, I will be logging in on Monday morning, so I expect no issues at all.
A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
