Hey guys. Quick question.

I'm currently downloading the game files with the new installer, but it has run for over 6 hours now and still misses nearly 2 GB. So my question is thus:
Can I quit the installer (time for bed) and then resume at the same point tomorrow seeing how it's P2P? Or does it have to be downloaded it one go, so that I will loose all progress if I stop it now?

My intuition says I can safely shut it off for the night, but not entirely sure, so would be nice with an confirmation.

Last time I did it I had to start it from scratch. Not sure if it was an error or something, but it did happen.

The answer is yes if the installer is working correctly. Sometimes it doesn't work quite right and you may have to re-download some of the portions from before, but if all is well, it will start back where it stopped.

Is there a place to download the installer even if you didn't purchase a digital copy? I got the CE and didn't feel like paying another $60 for the digital version.

Dang 6 hours? I downloaded the starter edition and it took about an hour..

you can download the installer if you have gotten your CE so you can attach the code to your acc;)
but then again what's the point when you got the cds?

To bad you cant even use the cds to install untill monday

I usually do my big downloads when I go to sleep. No one is using the internet at that time so it will just finish as we all sleep.
