Both voices are great... But with both, I really don't feel like it's the Angel of Justice speaking... Makes me think of a Slightly Hesitant, corny voice actor.
I think it was only natural to have the new voice because Tyrael appears to be a huge black guy when you first discover him. The original voice seems too high pitched to fit his new form. I do like both voices though, but the new one is cool.
Was anyone else thrown off in a really good way when they realized Tyrael's been narrating all the class vids plus the Diablo retrospective? When I heard it used in the cartoon I was like, "Wait, WUT? James Earl Jones sounding guy?? You're Tyrael?!"

Actually no. Friends and I laughed at those class spots cuse they were kinda cheesy, mainly due to the "Movie Guy" type voice acting going on. Then I found out he's the voice of Tyrael and /sad face.
Jonathan Adams' voice work have included Atrocitus, Dormammu, Kang, Galactus, and Martian Manhunter in the past. I'm quite positive that Tyrael is in very capable hands.
I think Ive seen this topic before. Anyway whats the point in arguing about it. It clearly will be this voice instead of the old one.
Who's arguing? Can't really argue on something based on opinion...oh wait...that was every d3 argument to date....art...starfish hat...big shoulders..etc etc
Edit: Personally I liked the starfish hat...reminded me of DBZ

This is a comparison video of the two voices.
Personally, although I did love Ed Trotta, I kinda prefer the new guy. Thoughts?
Yes
The reason Ed wasn't cast is because he is currently too busy with his other projects.
