Thought I would post an image showing off the Treasure Goblin while in Zoom view. I was curious to see them up close so here is you are.

I also find that hitting them once just before they portal out will make them run some more and drop more gold... keep doing that till they eventually die

The image bottom right is one of mushrooms that I found only once during my time on the beta. No idea yet what its purpose is but you get to collect 1 mushroom that cant be traded.

These lil guys are gonna get so many people killed at higher difficulties xD

Found maybe 40 of those mushrooms. Its D1 easteregg, thats all.

It is thought the shrooms MAY be used for access to the possibly real cow level lol

Fairly sure it'll have some use as it seems to have a 'per account' flag. If it was just an easter egg they wouldn't likely care if they limited how many you could have. Then again my logic may be faulty there.

I had unfocused vision for a second, and thought the red health globe was Meatwad.

Man, D1 voice acting is awesome.

On topic, looks like a giant mound of treasure through the portal, I never really paid much attention to it.

Cool pictures, never saw them up close, they look meaner then i thought.

The mushroom is a reference to a Diablo 1 quest.

First time i saw the treasure goblins in the beta was awesome, come to think of it their probably my favorite mob, whats not to love about a gold shitting goblin?

They will be insanely fun to fight in the later difficulties. I can only imagine the amount of deaths treasure goblins will bring upon those players whose greed exceeds the quality of the gear and the amount of skill they possess (I'll most probably be one of them, seeing how those little bastards just beg to be chased down). xD

I hadn't thought about that but i can see it now, whole party chasing down the treasure goblin while elites are just wailing on them, sounds glorious!

my wife called em "loot monkeys" ..she couldn't remember the name after encountering one in the beta, so that's what I call em now.
