So after entering every contest I could find and having no luck, someone actually let me play on their account and I finally got to play Diablo 3. Started at about 9pm and played nonstop till about 20 minutes ago. From what I played I didn't find any bugs or problems at all, the only problem is after playing I want the game even more. I don't know if Diablo 2 will hold me over till May 15th, especially since Diablo 3 is better in everyway. I got to play every class except the demon hunter, and they're all different, awesome, and fun to play. Can't wait for the full game, been playing diablo 2 since before the expansion came out so I'll most likely have no social life and play the game nonstop when it comes out. I'd still be playing the beta if I had it lol
I have had the beta for a month now and are sick of the same content over and over again wantz to get pazt SK ! heard there might be a twitch in the first act
I could see it getting old after a month, I'm almost tempted to try and put myself in a coma till May 15th lol. I heard about that too, supposedly it's fixed but if you find someone with the waypoints then you can get to the "secret" area.
I had a chance to play a bit today as well. I really liked the state of game except for the skill UI. Save that, the current beta feels more polished than patch13 and looks okay for shipping.
One surprise I had was how much I enjoyed the monk. I was originaly planning to go wiz->dem after launch but now I'm seriously considering going wiz->monk.
that would had been awsome to get to see new "secret" areas with all the beta keys that have been going out the last 2 days there arn`t many with epic waypoints
I keep hearing theres waves of beta invites going out and I still haven't got in, this is driving me nuts lol. My first character was gonna be the witchdoctor but now after playing all of them except the demon hunter I have no idea what to pick cause they're all so fun lol.
I could imagine it'd get boring after awhile with the level cap, and only being able to get to the skeleton king. I still wish I had the beta though as I've only played for a couple hours. But from what I've played of the beta I played nonstop for about 6 hours the full game is going to be amazing.
I did the same thing as OP, no luck with invites or contents, but my friend (that's not really intrested in playing the beta) got access and I can play as much as I want on his acc. Got bored after leveling each class to 13 and exploring every inch of the map. Lucky I didn't wanna play it to pass time until release, but to find out which class I wanna pick on midnight. The only downside is that I want the game even more now, and D2 really pales compared to D3 so I can't enjoy it the same way like before.
I wish I had access to the beta whenever I wanted, I didn't get to play the Demon Hunter or max level every character. I know what you mean though after playing the beta I don't even want to play Diablo 2 anymore. In my opinion it's pretty much improved on everything from Diablo 2.
