When I first read the news about the Italian site "leaking" an April 17th release date, I thought it was definitely a hoax. Jay Wilson's "cannot confirm or debunk" tweet got me thinking that maybe it wasn't, though, as it seems that Blizzard has been quick to squash false release dates in the past. However, an April 17th release date would mean that Blizzard has roughly six weeks to get the game to market... is this even a realistic possibilty? To me, it would seem that they would have had to start pressing DVDs, printing box art, etc. by now to meet that date, and I find it odd that we would not have heard about it somehow if that was happening.
So what do YOU think: is April 17th a realistic possibility, or just another dangled carrot?
(BTW, I know that there's already an official speculation thread for release, but I thought I'd start this since it pertains to a specific date.)

i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame.
Nope...just some fat Italian noobs who think they can make money out of saying this. '' OMG APRIL 17TH DIABLO 3 COMMING OUT, BUY MORE INFO HERE BUY INFO 5 EU !!!.
dont you see it (-:

See, that's what I figured as well, but then Jay doesn't deny/refute their information in his tweet. Weird.

Just seems to be quite a few things that need done to make that 17th release.
