Hihi, I've gone overboard with my tv and bought http://www.techradar...eview?artc_pg=5 . It is probably currently the best thing you can get for dark diablo 3 on the market. But it cost me a fortune.
For a 24" monitor the one that i got is pretty much the best you can get. The philips is great sure but its not ips and thats kinda shitty. but i guess its cuz its a 46" TV... anyway yea looks awesome.

What is this thing called "real life?" Is that some sort of expansion pack?

Am I the only one who thinks macs are far to expensive? I mean you can get a PC that can do almost everything a mac can a lot cheaper. Sure some mac programs are really nice, but....damn. To each their own i suppose.

Game runs like shit regardless, I got 2x gtx 580s, i7 3.06 and pci-x 480mbps read/write ssd and run bf3 and Tera on max possible and doesn't budge below 60 fps, but in d3 I swing a mace I drop to 20-40 frames.
Update your drivers, and don't forget to re enable SLI after. I have a very similar setup to you, SLI 580s, but my I7920 is at 4.4ghz, but you should be getting 60fps easily. Driver issue IMO. If its still messed, try disabling SLI and see how it works.
Driver issue or game is still incompatible with sli mode/card or smth. Either nvidia or blizz will solve it either soon after game is released or before it.

Yes you pay more, but you get quality and most of all > the way the folders etc work is perfect for my work (designer). These days u have opentype fonts that can be used by either PC or Mac, but there are still thousands of fonts that only work on Mac.
And it looks really nice on my desk <3
Meh, I have used a few macs, i prefer pc though. But then again I am a hardcore gamer, so PC is more suited to what i do.

The only reason I bought it is really the MothEye as it actually reduces reflection to level when I can play the game in bright light without getting a headache from light reflections. Just check out this video:
And below one is great if you imagine having nice red ambilight with your diablo game. Very climatic!
Yeah thats pretty awesome but i mean... 2400 pounds thats just like commiting suicide xD

Imacs are just overpriced flashy PC's in my opinion. With what you pay for one, you can build a PC 10x if not more powerful.

There are reasons as to why that is. The most obvious being the fact that its a monitor with a computer inside. Its huge, it has an amazing display, quality product, Mac, pure awesomeness. Its not a right comparisson to say that for the same price you can get a 10x times more powerful pc because you get a giant case that wieghs a ton with no monitor... And its a bunch of diferent companies and brands stuck together inside in a one big mess... Thats just not it.

True, but I also work looking at monitor all day long. So it is important to me to not strain my eyes. I wear glasses already.
Anyway for anybody who does not care for their eyes so much I think any other Philips model (twice less expensive) would give you similar results in moderate light conditions.
Ive bought a new pc in october, before Skyrim and Battlefield was released. So it's a bit overkill for Diablo. 16 gig ram, i5 processor, 580 gtx geforce.
But what I did buy especially with Diablo 3 in mind, was my 2.0 Creative T20 serie speakers. I like me some good sound when I play and I dislike headsets.
16GB of ram is overkill for any game, but only the i5 processor ?
My PC is 2yrs old:
5870 OC
i7
8GB
Plays every game perfectly fine on high settings, so Im not worried about D3.. Also my Tritton ax pro will give that atmospheric feeling.
Just bought mine and I can't take my eyes off of it! Such a nice piece of "equipment"!!
I actually got it for gaming overall, but I was planning to buy a new one anyways...there are just too many titles out there that are not worth missing out!
Diablo, if you come out in April, I WILL BE PREPARED!
Bought new Dell XPS 15 laptop a few months ago, with intention of playing Diablo III comfortable. And I've finally just had a chance to play beta for a few hours, game runs smoothly with highest settings. I'm sure the game will run fine even with low-end computers.

What's so funny about an iMac? its a fucking beast and its awesome. probably one of the most beautiful pieces of technology to exist.
