The main thing in this build is to slow enemies and survivability. You can use Ray of Frost into Meteor combo on your mouse buttons to do damage, the other 4 action bar buttons are used for survivability and frost nova's (for extra frost damage).
this is my build for a AoE specced Barbarian, Cleave/whirlwind, lifesteal, and the abbility to stun surrounding enemies and leap away or into them.
just a really nice build to try when in a group of 5 players.
I always liked support playing style. Staying behind all party or raid and spam some healing spells is sometimes feels like "Hey dude! Come on get some action!" But honestly I couldn't find a real acitonable supporter till I saw that Monk's skills. That's kinda "Come on naab I am Jeckie Chen and I can survive whatever u do". =) That's just the playing style I ever wanted and here is the link of my mostly PvP, a little bit PvE supporter monk build. I will explain why those skills and runes below.
Primary: Fists of Thunder + Thunderclap. Do you need any explain?
Secondary: Lashing Tail Kick + Sweeping Armada. A barbarian or an army of summoned minions etc. are
trying to knock you down and want to have a free kill? Give a holy kick and watch them trying to catch you! =)
Defensive: Breath of Heaven + Circle of Life. Circle of life and death continues. We will live, they will die. (The best replica I've ever heard in a game. (Nasus from LoL))
Conviction: Mantra of Healing + Circular Breathing. Health and spirit regen even if you are out of action.
Teqhniques: Crippling vawe + Tsunami. Movement speed and damage reduction aoe. O.o
Focus: Cyclone Strike + Soothing Breeze. To catch people running from your team mate and also an extra healing skill is fair enough.
Passive Skills: 1- The Guardian's Path. Two handed weapon well fits with this supporter.
2- Pasifism. No longer worry about CC.
3- One with Everything. Man this passive is ten thousand years sleeping dragon's dream. That's the best passive ever. I can't imagine that if we had this passive in D2. We could be immortal in Hell.
That's my build guys. I hope u like it. If u like playing support give it a try.
Just a straight forward monk build. I think it would be good for leveling because you can generate spirit as fast as you use it. I have 1 healing passive and 1 healing skill because monks are melee and always in the fray. So you can pretty much dash up to mobs and kill'em real fast and rinse and repeat.
The main goal for this build would be to help a party with various slows and stuns (which I hope will be needed at least in Inferno difficulty!), while also having a decent survivability (Vault) and damage (Multishot + Companion)
This build is designed around pve and flying into large crowds of Monsters(mobs) and letting the hurt begin. While also allowing the player many outs should they get overwhelmed and allow them to save their fellow allies buying precious seconds when there are no health globes and no pots available and or off cooldown.
With this build my choice weapons are fist weapons; to compliment the passives and more.
_______________________________ : S K I L L S :
Dashing Strike: This allows me to rush into the mobs and packs allowing me to unleash hell quickly. Rune: Way of the Fallen Star - After charging the mobs this rune allows me to run away from mobs fast should i become overwhelmed allowing me a quick out.
Deadly Reach: This allows me to hit many mobs from a distance giving me a buffer should i start to get overwhelmed. Rune: Percing Trident - With this rune it allows me to hit a larger range and additional targets should the mobs come and also overwhelm.
Blinding Flash: Also another form of an out should I get overwhelmed by multitudes of mobs. Rune: Blind and Confused - Allowing me further time to finish off mobs and or buy me precious seconds.
Inner Sanctuary: Yet Another form of an out which can temporarily puch back mobs and slight scare them giving me more precious seconds. Rune: Safe Haven - Should I or my friends get low on health in the chaotic battles ahead they can stand in my I.S. and get healed up.
Mantra of Evasion: With this everyone within range gets increased dodge so they can dodge some of the enemy attacks buy time to survive, get away from or kill their foes. Rune: Divine Protection - Should an ally be near death this rune will pop a shield on them reducing incoming damage buying crucial seconds.
Seven Sided Strike: Within the chaos of battle after Dashing in I would hit this move should there be large packs of mobs and let the beat down begin. Rune: Fulminating Onslaught - As the SSS skill is going on this rune will allow me to send out explosions of holy damage on my foes
_________________________________________ : P A S S I V E S :
The Guardians Path: With this passive it allows me with my weapon of choice: fist weapons; to increase my chances to dodge while in the thick of battle allowing me a chance to dodge enemy attacks.
Resolve: With this passive it reduces incoming enemy damage by 25% allowing me to take on many foes at once.
Near Death Experience: With this passive when i take fatal damage it instead brings my hp and spirit back up by 35% allowing me to have a chance to get out of danger using another ability and continue the fight.

To shock ones enemies and awe his allies in the heat of battle...
A buddy and I plan on playing a whole bunch of co-op on our first playthrough, we're both loving the way the Barb is shaping up. My goal with this build is to be the tank in our group, but still have the ability to put out a steady stream of AOE damage. To match up with this my fellow barbarian will focus on pure dps skills as well as group 'must haves' like War Cry
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#bWXgSP!ZYd!aZZZaZ
That.s gonna be my leveling build. After the changes to rune-system i found out that half of my rune choices for main build are for 40+/50+ levels... So i came up with this one to stick with on the way till around 55lvl.
Demon Hunter spec with minimum survivability (Evasive Fire + Tactical Advantage) with max hatred regen (Bat Companion + Vengeance) for consistent and big Impale - Chemical Burn shots (Marked for Death 15%dmg + Steady Aim 20%dmg).
As I said this is a pvp build made up of 2 cc's, a buff, and 3 dots. The skills I chose will do a constant damage that wont really spike to drop someone fast, but it should be more then enough to take people down by the time my cc's wear off, and the amazing thing is that other then just 2 runes the build will be done at level 27-29.
The skills and runes I chose are: Haunt with the Consuming Spirit rune, so for 15 seconds there will be a dot on the target that will constantly heal me.
Corpse Spiders with the widowmakers rune, this will be my main spam spell, the spiders will hopefully soake up some damage and get in the way of the other person moving to me (I don't have the beta, so I haven't been able to test mechanics yet) and they will also be constantly replenishing my mana, so it should be a constant spam spell.
Locust Swarm is my last attack and it has the Searing Locusts rune on it, and it will be a once every 3 seconds spam for most of my damage, unfortunatly though, the rune for this ability wont be used till I hit level 57... but still powerful regardless.
Soul Harvest is the buff of my build, and with the Vengefull Spirit rune it also becomes a damaging attack, though the rune wont be used till level 59 for end game, it'll still give a large boost to int. for a damage and resistance boost.
Horrify is the first of my two cc's, it's an aoe fear bomb that when paired with the rune Phobia will last for 6 seconds on everything within 12 yards of me. and 6 seconds of all the dots in this build might just be enough to work down most people in a pvp match.
Hex is the last ability in this build, it's a 8 second single target cc with only a 10 second cool down, kind of op for 1v1, and for larger groups it'll be a nice way to curb group damage taken. But when it's combined with the Hedge Magic rune, it also periodically heals for a large amount that will make a big difference no matter what situation we're in.
Now last we have the passives: Spiritual Attunement: gives a boost to mana and mana regeneration.
Spirit Vessel: reduces the cool down of horrify and soul harvest by 2 seconds, and once every 90 seconds when I take damage that would be fatal instead I enter the spirit realm for 3 seconds and heal 30% of my total health in that time, letting me come back and try again.
Vermin: increases the damage of my corpse spiders and locust swarm by 20%
and that's it for my build, if you can think of any tweeks I can make to improve if, pm me and let me know, and remember, this is an arena pvp build, so it might not be the best for 1v1, but in groups it should do extreamly well.
