This is a tank Barbarian build for late hell/ inferno. it is built around having no CDs and targetting Life steal for sustaining the barbarians life.
For single target fights I would use frenzy attacks for rage buildup then hammer of ancients as rage spender
For group fights I would use Cleave for rage buildup and Rend as rage spender with revenge available as a clicky for both type of fights.
I think this is a good mixture of skills to get through the game, a lot aof aoe damage but then also some extra defensive skills, to survive in hell and get some extra Arcane Power from Prodigy.
I know, maybe this is not an optimal build, but it seems fun and i like the aoe damage and slow time
I hope magic missiles will do enough damage to get fast enough through the enemies.
While my dogs are attacking and taking the damage for me i will use grasp of the dead and firebombs to slow and damage them. Once i feel i have done enough damage i will detonate my dogs to finish them off. I will also summon my gargantuan for the more fearsome enemies when required.
To do all this will cost lots of mana, the key to this problem is using the passive called: "Gruesome Feast".
Now every globe that drops gives me mana + intelligence! With the help of these skill runes: "grasp of the dead - death is life" & "zombie dogs - final gift", there will be plenty of health globes for me to collect. The passive "circle of life" and the skill rune "sacrifice - next of kin" should also help with micro, save me quite a bit of time and mana.
Spirit walk will be used to escape from near death situations as well as help me collect those important health globes. I chose the Jaunt skill rune on this so that i will have more time to run in between monsters and collect more health globes to keep my mana full and of course the extra intelligence will come in very handy with my offensive skills.
The passive "Zombie Handler" is a must have for this build, that extra dog and the extra life on my zombies will of course be very useful.
So heres a quick play through with my skill set: A horde of monsters approach, my zombie dogs and gargantuan take the front line and block them off, i cast "grasp of the dead" to slow them down and do some dmg, while my zombies attack furiously i lob some firebombs in there for some more dmg, 2 of these monsters break through the front line to confront me, all i do is cast spirit walk and run straight through whats left of the horde to the other side(collect a few globes while you there) and as they try and follow you through the masses you detonate a few dogs to finish them off. Anything thats left after that your gargantuan and dogs will finish off easily, whilst you clean the blood splatters off of your WD mask now that sounds like fun!
A build which is single minded target bound. Rockets shooting out of my face and making monsters cry. Hatred should be holding steady and slowly decreasing with a little companion and proper generators. Hopefully you all can keep up.
I think this is a nice Barbarian mix of offensive and defensive skills, for PvP mostly. Ancient Spear to pull them to you, weapon throw as a chance to get away. I would like to try this build, I think it might work. A bit weak on pure damage skills maybe...
This is a PvE Co-Op AoE build for farming normal difficulty, and a quick summary of each abilities use:
-Electrocute, is used as the main AoE ability thanks to Chain Lightning rune.
-Disintegrate, is used for bosses as a single target dps ability with the Intensify rune.
-Teleport, is used in conjunction with hydras and frost nova as a delivery mechanism hence Wormhole.
-Hydra, with Frost Hydra rune for mob control.
-Frost Nova, with Shatter rune also for mob control.
-Archon as a dps cooldown and with Arcane Destruction an "oh shit" button. (:-p)
Passives: Glass Cannon for increased dmg, Paralysis for even more mob control, and Progidy for AP regen.
Hoping this build will be a fun WIzard build to farm normal with my friends on our way to Inferno ^^
This is my summon Witch Doctor, I loved the Necromancer in D2 and he was the character I got furthest with.
The enjoyment for me was sitting back and watching my minions destroy the hordes of hell! This is my plan with this Witch Doctor build as well as a few defensive spells to avoid danger and also an escape/mana regen spell ready for emergencies.
I've always enjoyed High-DPS Mage. As we all know a high DPS mage means easy kill. For that, I have Diamond Skin Which absorbes almost 9000 dmg and also Ice Armor. Everything else is high-fire dps with some AOE DPS.
The build as a whole could be described as not that practical or consistent, but, I think at least, extremely fun. Almost every spell is a part of a huge combo damage series.
First of, the main spell of that combo would be Sacrifice (with Next of Kin). After hitting the sequence right on a huge bunch of monsters, this spell would give a finishing blow of at least 2000% weapon damage (much depending on the "hugeness" of the group).
To help you achieve that combo, other spells are used: Mass Confusion (Devolution), Acid Cloud (Corpse Bomb), Firebats (Dire Bats); and passives: Zombie Handler, Gruesome Feast, Circle of Life
Mass Confusion gives you huge crowd control and afterwords a few extra tributes for the Sacrifice. To kill the confused bunch, use Firebats, and Acid Cloud (or Plague of Toads, these 3 spell, deal the most AoE damage). In the process, you should get some more dogs from your passive: Circle of Life, and loads of extra damage from your other passive: Gruesome Feast (up to 50% more).
All this will fill your health but drastically drain your mana, so Soul Harvest is there, if you ever need to recharge (Soul Harvest with Swallow your Soul OR Spirit Walk with Honored Guest, both are good).
When the games finally comes out, I hope to play a bit with this build. It is most certainly not finished, and far from perfect, but I will polish it on release.
Been following the Diablo Series since Diablo I. And what's funny is that I have never played a Barbarian, let alone attempted to create one. So, the way I look at it is that, why not give this class a shot for once and see if it'll make me love the game/story even more.
Here is the link to the build I created for my first Barbarian. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up following this exactly as is! I hope this is a good post and a great build. Been stoked for this game since I beat Diablo II. Thanks for keeping up on the posts, videos, pics, and everything D3 related!!! It keeps the anticipation that much more worth while!
Demon Hunter build based on high AoE damage, supported by AoE stuns and solid life regain through various skills. Also went for the passive skill to increase my critical chance which in return increases my damage output which increases healing gained through Entangling Shot, and through it I also gain 2 Discipline per critical hit.
Basically a build for solo gameplay with high mobility and survivability combined with AoE damage.
First of all i have to say i m going with 2 different Demon Hunter talents...Aoe (for trash and farm, because mobs will die quickly with 4 players) and single target for only bosses.
1) http://us.battle.net...RVUh!Yce!aaYaaZ .This is for only aoe and SC,i cant make any comment about HC.
2) http://us.battle.net...VUj!Yce!aaZaaa. I am going to use this talent for single target (named mobs and bosses).
I cant make more comments because i didnt play in beta, i would like give more correct and stronger talent from experience but atm it cant be happen *shrug*.
Here's my build for the Witch Doctor.
Pretty much you could run around and use Grasp of the Dead to slow down enemies, then throw up a zombie wall, and then blast them with your Firebomb. And on top of that you'd have zombie dogs as well, and Bid Bad Voodoo to incrase the attack speed and movement of you and your allies. I have a feeling it'll be a pretty badass build.
