Premise: This build focuses on using Critical Attacks to help you find "Treasure" and Kill Monsters faster.
1. Frenzy- increases attack speed = chance for more crits. Runed: to slowly heal you as you grind/farm.
2. Hammer-Higher Crit and does a ton of dmg. Runed: crit attacks cause a higher chance of Drops.
3. Ignore Pain- Pop that Cool Down at the ready. Runed: last longer
4. Leap Attack- FUN! and a good get out of jail free card. Runed: Stun those guys!
5. Battle Rage- Pop on Cool Down, higher crit = more dmg. Runed: crit = fury
6. Wrath of the Berserker- Pop this Cool Down to kill shit fast and take less dmg! Runed: Crit = + Dmg
Passive:
1. Ruthlessness- more crit + more dmg + more attacks = more treasure!
2. Unforgiving- More fury on the go!
3. Boon of Bul-Kathos- Wrath of the Berserker is amazing! Keep it coming!
The build is designed to make use of stronger melee weapons (which add to the bleed effects), and slowing effects. It's more of a turtle approach to killing mobs, but the thought is to group them all up as much as possible, and then backtrack.. while they're bleeding, they'll also be slowed down to an extreme.
The Hydra adds to the constant damage being applied while being dragged around.
And the familiar's damage increase should make the bleeds tick heavier.
Due to the constant regen of energy, the key points to this build, are a heavy hitting weapon, and heavier armor to help with any extra hits that may or may not make it to the character. I have no idea (and lots of doubt) if this strategy will work in hard mode, as we've seen in D2 that hardmode changed some of the general strategies, and made them less than stellar. (Charged bolt builds, for example.. in D2 were viable.. until you hit Hardmode.. then they because less so)
The idea is to taunt enemies and take the hits like a champ, but letting enemies pay for it in return. I love the synergy between taunting and Revenge. Plus, skills like Cleave, Rend and Earthquake will really cause some pain to groups of enemies hoarding around me.
I really havent seen much of diablo III besides a couple streams, but since DII I loved the sorc.
Here is a funny little build I created that focuses on heavy aoe, mainly from electrocute. When this game comes out, I am most likely going to choose sorc first and possibly even try this build as I level up.
I went with the barbarian for my first toon as, given the assortment of classes available, I can only relate to a 6'6" axe wielding monstrosity of a human.
I don't know much about the mechanics of the game since I haven't gotten into the beta (yet ;-) ), but I went with talents that I've seen in videos with the common thread being that they all seem to be AoE and related to smashing the ground. If you're going to be built like a professional body builder (x2!), you should be able to destroy the ground beneath the feet of your enemies with nothing more than your axe.
This build focuses on control and survival, and would be played in pvp or late game pve.
Electrocuteand Disintegrateare the main damage dealers here, with Wave of Forcemixed in when enemies get too close. The rest of the skills are survival oriented.
This'll be my solo build for my Demon Hunter. I like the amount of control it provides, specifically with the Discipline regen from Multishot allowing for frequent deployment of Caltrops. Was debating between Cluster and Multishot, but I think the discipline regen wins out over the damage. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
The basic idea behind this build is to keep as far away from mobs as possible, zipping around fast enough that I'm almost invulnerable to attack.
Tempest Rush gets me in quick, followed by Crippling Wave to regenerate spirit, using Seven-Sided Strike or Tempest Rush for large groups, then Blinding flash to escape. If all else fails, Mantra of Evasion would give me a good chance of escaping safely. Repeat until everything is dead.
For Passives, Fleet Footed and Sixth Sense are obvious enhancements to the build, while Chant of Resonance massively improves the Mantra of Evasion, while helping to generate spirit for attacks.
My build is for a Demon Hunter running with a Monk as melee with heals and group enhancements. I have focused on traps for slow, as well as damage modifiers and resource generators with the selected runes. We may not kill as fast, but it will be interesting to see if this build is viable in Inferno where more defensive skills would be needed to manage incoming damage and survive.
leap attack into a huge mob, drop overcharge & rend as many times as possible, furious charge out and repeat. frenzy is to single target down whatever is left
So this is my build for monk. I choose that skill because they will let me keep opponets far from me (knockback effect). It is just HammerFIist Build for LMB or Chuck Norris Build for RMB
This build is based on high damage output as well as survival.
With damage coming back as hp and having the chance for Revenge to activate, health should be a second thought.
The added bonus of Birth Right will increase loot drops allowing you to obtain items more frequently.

However, with the new skill trees in place for D3, it looks like it MIGHT be somewhat possible again...

I made this build for a 4 person group as a tanky barb to take the hits.

I have generally avoided hunter/rogue classes in my other games.. I figure ill try something new.

I choose this build for maximum tankyness. It focuses on dodging and reducing enemy damage as well as reducing the time of CC effects.

Focus on dealing large amounts of fire burst damage. Passives are geared at increasing mana regen. and damage.

I like this monk build because I love healing and supporting my team at the same time as kicking ass.
Thanks and goodluck to me
