The weekend isn't here yet and they have added the patch at night many times. So there is still time. Plus they said that they would like the patch to come out before the weekend. That doesn't mean it will. At but I wouldn't mind that write up also. Been dieing to find out what the changes are.

I don't always burn. But when I do, I use hellfire.
They did say they were hoping to have it up before the weekend. Doesn't mean it will be up but we can keep our fingers crossed. Just keeping my fingers crossed so that I can try it out with my wife.
I could see them having it late tonight ( which ill be drunk partying) or early tomorrow. But then again its Blizz and there "word" isnt really that great.
Edit: tomorrow would be nice would help nurse my hang over haha.
im guessing they are all in a room getting ready to let us know, or they are all in a room thinking of ways to troll us with blue posts involving the word "soon" a few times

...Been playing Diablo Since Diablo 1 came out...and haven't stopped playing Diablo since...
Can't wait to see what is new, a lot of classes can some clear better alternatives to other skills and I'm hoping they can make every skill viable. Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter in particular seem to suffer from this.
Also interested to see how they handle the rune system since some people think they may end up reworking them from the ground up.
The new rune system is inherently tied into skills. Runes are no longer items - you pick your skill, then the accompanying rune. There are now no longer "ranks" of rune. At each level, you'll unlock different runes for different skills. This gives you some excitement now as you level all the way up to 60.
Skills are being divided into further sub-categories (defense, situational, technique, etc.) Initially, skill slots that you unlock are fixed in terms of what 'category' of skill you can put in them; left click will initially only allow your class's spammable offensive ability. Other slots will be locked to the other categories of ability. Eventually you'll be able to choose whatever you want, similar to how the game currently is. Presumably, this is to prevent noobs from making a completely unviable/broken build, but lets you experiment once you're more comfy.
Yes, it's legit. No, I will not tell you where the info came from. No, I do not give a rat's ass if you don't believe me.

Oh right... It's 22:30 friday here in Israel.
Let's hope I'll wake up with some good news tomorrow.
It's barely noon in Blizzard land though, no one works before noon. I'm not expecting anything before the patch though.
