I have read a lot of posts concerning both for and against the delays. One thing I keep reading is "you guys are being impatient, just let blizzard do their job." I just have one question, when does it end? When is it alright to get angry? I have become jaded to the fact this game keeps getting delayed, and bought CoD mw3 I will buy D3 next year (cause I can only afford one game a year). I will still follow this game but with less enthusiasm. I wanted to buy D3 but it just got to crazy, and got tired of waiting for solid news about release.
It ends when people can't proof read their thread title. RAWRRRRRR patience********
IAH people don't have a right to get mad at this. This is how blizzard makes games, this is just the first time they've been able to actually see a good chunk of the process. And they are shocked to see systems implemented then taken out, changes that are changed and changed again, and more. Please realize this isn't new, when a game is made they don't know every single system at the start. They need to try their hardest on a system they THINK will be the best, but if it turns out it just doesn't work, they try something else. What separates Blizzard is they actually do this. Lesser gaming companies will just put out the product, which of course is why Blizzard is number 1 =D /rantrantrant

LOL not even a month passed in 2012. It hasn't been delayed more, it's still "early 2012". And only stupid would assume they meant Jan-Feb, so it's still around March-April, it's still possible, so no delays so far.
U can start be mad if there's no official release date by the end of April.
I don't care what game it is or what studio is making it, if you get angry because a video game isn't being released or isn't being released yet, then you need to reevaluate your priorities. There are other things far more worthy of getting angry about.
Never forget that video games are entertainment provided to you for a cost, the purchase and/or subscription price. No business is under any obligation to provide you with a product that they aren't even selling yet. Nor is an artist at any obligation to provide you with their art. They aren't even obligated to give you wallpapers, or explain why they are making the design decisions they are, or even show you what design decisions they're making. If you don't like that you don't have the game, vote with your dollars and spend it on something else.
TLDR: Get another hobby, learn a skill, volunteer time, just quit whining you don't have a video game. Lose the entitlement. P.S. Blizzard thanks you for your passion.
People like to say (those getting married or having real life issues not being counted in this) that they won't get this game. Like it's some sort of powerful statement on how they felt development was handled. They'll still get the game. And only one thing is going to result from this sort of petulant attitude:
Blizzard will not be as open anymore. Why bother risking apparent PR damage from this asinine vocal minority of people who think they have some sort of moral high ground? Nope. We'll never get to see as much of the development process now that we've had people thinking that this development cycle was somehow different from any other Blizzard game, where they have been piling on unjustified complaint after unjustified complaint.
Call me a fanboy all you want, you are not developing this game. You (being a general term) are not spending resources developing this game, save for your sanity, which really isn't Blizzard's fault.
Blizzard's behind the scenes stuff will now not be released until after every future game's release.

And it makes me sad.
Agreed positively, except I'm not sure Blizzard really cares that much or that it will affect future development cycles. It's mostly just the community managers that have to deal with stuff like that, I can't imagine the developers give one whiff.

Yea I'm hoping blizz looks past all the whine, and still keeps us slightly in the loop as far as development goes.
The game has only got "delayed" once...and that delay wasn't even a real delay. Early 2012 is still on, it's the first month of the year for goodness sake...
its been 4 years, and with each update theyre making the game simpler and simpler. some of the new updates are just fckin retarded. i mean simple tooltips? cast to identify items? 30 second cooldown on skills when switching them? thats the main reason the majority of us are getting mad. is because theyre delaying the game, to incorporate needless shit that dumbs the game down

(this build was before D3 launched... looking back on it now - i had no idea what i was doing)
All subjective. Tbh you can get mad whenever you want. Just realize that you come over as an immature kid and/or retarded when you whinge and whine on forums, crying for "justice". Something to think about.
Then again, generalizing is never good, I'm sure there are some of those who vent in forums are just having a bad day or something. To often things get broken down into black and white, in this example, kids and fanboys
Honestly before patch 10 I wanted the game out as soon as possible but after patch 10 they have soooooooooo many bugs it is redick! They need to go through this game with a fine needle and TAKE THEIR TIME. I DO THINK ALL THIS HATE AND FORUMS SAYING RELEASE THE GAME NOW IS GETTING TO SOME OF THE WORKERS OF BLIZZARD on a small scale (Im sure they r pretty thick skinned but u never know). I HATE TO THINK THAT ALL THIS HATE IS MAKING THEM RUSH; BELIEVE ME IT WILL HURT US MORE THAN THEM WHEN WE GET THIS GAME AND IT IS FILLED WITH BUGS. WE ALL NEED TO LET THEM DO WHAT THEY DO WHICH IS MAKE A GREAT GAME AND A COMPLETE GAME. I know we all have been waiting for X amount of years and this is a long wait any way u look at it but lets b gentle.
As for the tool tips I think it is a great idea, I have some friends that will be playing diablo for the first time on d3 and it will help out a lot when it comes to figuring out the logistics of the game. So try not to bash them for wanting them to make the best game possible for YOU and everyone else...instead continue or begin by helping them by reporting bugs and giving suggestions in a constructive matter. If u r here on the forums to just VENT then by all means go ahead and do what u got to do but repeating and repeating "I want the game now" is NOT going to make the game release quicker.

So when is it ok to get mad?
You are obviously a troll. Who said it keeps getting delayed? Blizzard hasn't said that, so who has? They've said they hope to have the game out in early 2012. How is that being misconstrued to mean it's being continually delayed? You need to read a little more and stop exaggerating Blizzard's blue posts. Until you officially see word of it being further delayed you have NOTHING to go by other than your incorrect assumptions and speculations.
Don't give us that "I can only afford one game a year" crap. You've had months to save up to purchase the game when it comes out. A mere $20/month saved will allow you to buy it. Stop being a whiny little b*tch. Hopefully, since you can't buy the game till next year, you'll leave the forum so we won't have to put up with your posts, crying and whining, over a game.
Okay guys so I get all this stuff, I get what the fanboys say and also what the haters say.
I just have one question for all you people who say "stop whining the game will be out when its ready" and all these things. Please try to answer this honestly.
Would you still say that if it is the year 2015, 2020, 2025 and it is still not released? Basically, my question just like the OP tried to get through i think is, when would you lose your patience? Even the most die hard fanboy has a limit. Lets say 2080 when you are dead.
All subjective. Tbh you can get mad whenever you want. Just realize that you come over as an immature kid and/or retarded when you whinge and whine on forums, crying for "justice".
I'm not crying for "justice", but:
Skyrim took only 3 years to release. This game is a massively open world filled with literally limitless randomization of items, quests, and the dialog evolves beyond initial conversations. People will change their attitude towards you as you progress depending on the plethora of factions you can join.
Diablo 3 is a dungeon crawler with randomized maps, and items, BUT contains fixed locations, NPC's, and dialogs and has been in development for 4 years.
So riddle me this. Why is it taking longer than Skyrim (which is massive by comparison) to make D3?

Seriously tho whatever as long as its good when its done, although I'm not visiting the forums as often as I used to.

If Luke listened to Yoda, Cloud City would have gone to shit, imo. lol
