Whats so important abut globally launching the game? I don't understand that...
Well for Blizzard it's possibly to keep everyone happy even the Koreans, they're probably the biggest Starcraft playing nation, so they are aware of Blizz's excellent games, hence there will be many Koreans playing D3. They have spent a good 4/5 years on the game which is very long in comparison to other developers, so they'll definitely want to release the game with a bang.
And since Activision just broke the $1 Billion mark for MW3 in just 16 days, Blizz will try to give that a go (despite the fact that I know Diablo 3 will never make that much money in 16 days [just sales, RMAH excluded]), perhaps Blizz might come close with that with the RMAH included.
Blizz (NORTH) already broke records with Diablo 2 and it's just fitting that Blizz would want to follow the success of D2 with sales/online/RMAH records ect.
Korea is gonna get allot of hate for this, and they deserve it id say, Blizzard aswel.
Haha the Koreans are disliked enough in general already! Adding this piece of hatred to their tally won't make a difference... But yeah we will see Korean rollin and we will indeed be hatin.
So I think some of you might have already read the following earlier today on Deity's blog, but I just thought I'll share it here for those who didn't. It's not specifically about the RMAH but is about what Blizz is doin during the delay.
Again, this guy has zero credibility when it comes to anything Blizzard, so there's no reason to bring attention to his posts unless it's for a good laugh.

The US' relations with South Korea isn't that bad, which I'm sure the work with RMAH is being focused for. Blizzard potentially holding back the release for North Korea is like holding it back for Iran, Venezuela, Pakistan, etc.

Well I can confidently say that many of us thought it would be released in late 2011, heck Blizz even said so...if nothing went wrong that is...and there did go something wrong.
How can this not be credible? It's not like he's sucking it out of his thumb. Most of the time he has credible proof, like this instance. Yes, it's not coming directly from Blizz's mouth, but it is coming from a Blue Poster. Like Bashiok. Why can't we believe what Zhydaris say?
All this speculation about when the game is gonna get released and what is delaying it, is not Blizz-credible, but some of it is most likely true, since it's coming from a Blue Poster, which has much more credibility than us puny inferior humans.
Daeity simply look into the stuff we miss or didn't even know about and post it on his blog while making credible and well-found assumptions. Of course there's not real way to know for sure whether it's true or not, but he is right most of the time...

Of course, that's reasonable. But he is claiming that the release date was originally on perhaps the second largest holiday in the US. That's absurd.

What proof? He reads into what a Blue poster says and twists it around to make it back up his stance. So yes, he pulls them out like he's sucking it out of his thumb.

Just read it, some of this stuff was only officially announced by Blizz 5 months after his post (ie RMAH and constant internet connection).
Sorry for the rant.
Look at the date of the post then look at when the comments started. He added the post in August and simply dated it back to March. He pulled the same thing with the "leaked" Blizzcon 2011 notes showing a D3 release date was supposed to be announced. He back dated the imgur page claiming it was posted before Blizzcon, when in fact it was posted after. http://imgur.com/TM5Qr It now shows a proper date of two months ago.

Ok yeah "proof" was probably the wrong word to have used...maybe not. How many times has Bashiok cleared things up for us? (Well I actually don't knowm but he has many times). The whole purpose of Blue Posters is to form a link between Blizz and the community. They answer concerning questions about Blizz/D3/Wow, but they do not reveal anything spoilery (in this case). They do know what is happening in Blizz HQ, so their posts are more credible and more likely true.

He is wrong most of the time.
Most of the time? So you do acknowledge that some of his stuff is true? Anyways, we'll see.

If you didn't read ahead or know anything about the history of this site, this post and others were only live for about 1 hour back in March. The blog was shutdown, and has not been active for 5 months.
It was just brought back online 08/03/11 and then it was noticed by a mmo-champion user 4 days later.. that's why there are sudden comments. It is a ridiculous notion to assume it's "fake" because of the sudden comments. You should talk to people who actually know the history of the site to confirm it's legitimacy. Then you'll know the truth.

Hehe true. They definitely don't give us any good info. Lots of teasers.

Ha! I don't hate the guy, so I'll give him some credit. I've never seen anything of his that was right, but it's hard to be wrong all the time. The guy who created the site seemed to have decent info, but he was also pretty eccentric. He didn't have any profound news items earlier than anyone else, but it was what he posted about the internal goings-on at Blizzard that was most interesting. Who knows if any of it was true. The new guy...eh. Riding on coat-tails for the most part. Just someone who wants attention.

Read all the posts not just the dates.
He's covering his ass, trying to explain away the posting date. Frankly no one buys it.
Funny how upset the bliz employees and loyalists get with that guy...
God forbid every tiny bit of information isn't absolutely vetted and manicured before being spoon-fed to the WoWheads...
No one is upset, and I'm not sure what there is to get upset about in the first place. He's a joke.

I only discovered this blog recently, never knew how the old guy was. Soooo, I might not have been the right person to defend his credibility. But yeah he probably is riding some coattails, but not as much as other's do. I do know for one that he does sometimes says: "So this other site" (incgamers I think) "basically copied my post as it was without bothering to change it, but I don't care. :)". But as far as my knowledge goes, he's by far the most knowledgeable/insightful person about behind the scenes Diablo 3 events.

Hehe yeah I noticed he gave incgamers a hard time about stealing content. Shoot, they didn't credit diablofans for any of the loading screens or other info datamined from the beta either. I guess that's how they role.
Not to burst anyones bubble about the Diety stuff, to be frank, I don't really care that much about it, I just remembered an incident with some infomation about Mists of Pandaria, surely I got no proof, only a satement from Boubouille on Mmo-c itself.
Personal oppinion, atleast there's a warning it's from diety's blog, then you can decide wether you wish to believe it not, but don't get dissapointed.
on topic, I believe that the game isn't finished, I'm quite sure that if it mattered that much to them, they could just disable the RMAH for the koreans until the mess has been sorted. Blizzard is "famous" of polish their games, sometimes they don't even get released due to being horrible, no personal experience myself, only heard of the story of Starcraft Ghost or something like that.
