I've been searching for a good mouse for a while, u guys think this mouse is worth to buy to just play wow/d3?
I've preached it a couple times; Razor Naga bro. Don't be intimidated by the 12 thumb buttons on the side, or the two extra on the left mouse click; It's faster than any keyboard hotkey for wow, and I'll be able to put every skill I can use in D3 on them, as well as whatever UI functions I want to. It's like ~$99, but by far the best mouse I've owned. It's also been over two years of constant use (mostly wow so I'm using all my buttons) and it's got ZERO wear and tear. Get it, you won't be sorry.
Tip: DON'T use the handicap little stickers it comes with so you can memorize the buttons w/o looking, it only hinders you. It'l take like ~30 minutes of practice to muscle memory it, then you're good to go =P
Back in the day when I played WoW friends and I used "N52TE speedpad" and its been the greatest thing for MMOs. I would guess it would be easy for diablo. The buttons are programable to do mouse functions, keys, macros and most importantly its REALLY comfy to put your hand on it. If you have time you can maybe find them in bestbuy and see for yourself.
But back to the mouse. I ordered it as well for more then just its looks, the warranty for 10 million clicks, not to mention its feel ( its build close to the xai from what iv seen). Im still waiting for my D3 mouse to show up. Once I do ill let you know how it feels.
The D3 mouse is definitely one of the best out there, but if you want to go all-out and get the best of the best, get the SteelSeries Sensei. It took the throne as the best gaming mouse from the Xai.
If in doubt, check out the reviews out there.
hey wingless i have a quick question. apart from the metal cover , are there any other physical differences between D3 mouse and sensei ? iv looked and physically they look almost the same. have you used both ?

Never buy razor products, if you expect anything remotely similar to customer service. Emails that take weeks to get replied to, busy signals, and when/if you finally get the RMA# they will then pretend the package never arrived.
The shell is pretty much the same. The silver cover on the Sensei is more smooth, though.
The insides are all different, though. For one it's equipped with an ARM processor, meaning it does all the calculations and sends them directly to the computer, cutting latency and (a small amount of) processing power from the CPU.
The top button is no longer a button on the D3 mouse, thats kinda lame and hints at this being tossed together.
It doesnt even give you a proper specs page....hmm.
I was considering buying one, but not now. All evidence points to this thing being craptastic...
You should wait for a few reviews before even considering buying this thing.

Do you want to get scammed? Perhaps a nice keylogger?

I've used my Logitech MX510 for 7 years now. It still works perfectly, but I have been considering getting a gaming mouse. I don't want more buttons, but something newer and faster might be nice. However, I really like the way that the logitech mouse fits my hand and I'm not sure that I would like the ambidextrous design of the D3 mouse. Does anyone have any recommendations?
So I have the D3 mouse and I have to say. Its really really nice. The one graph I have with it is the far side of the buttons my pinky and ring finger are close to. There a bit odd there. However thats for the ambidexterity of the mouse. Apart from that its lovely.

If you feel you aren't going to use those two buttons, you can actually open the SteelSeries Engine UI, select both buttons in the UI, and choose "disable". Thus they won't do nothing.

Unless your hands are really tiny, only the first 6 are really useful (I have one). After that you have to contort your thumb in odd ways that make the efficiency lose out to keyboard hotkeys. Also TBH no class in WoW needs 12 hotkeys + 7-8 keys you have within left hand range (w/o moving).
I don't see the need for side mouse buttons in D3. No WASD movement means your left hand is free, and only 6 skills means you don't need to assign many hotkeys. And besides how does clicking mouse buttons with your thumb/ring/pinkie finger not hinder mouse movement? I move the mouse with my thumb/ring/pinky finger...

The seventh button is the mouse-wheel. Push it down, and it does the same function the other six buttons do.

Technically the M60 is a FPS mouse, but I don't think I would ever actually use all 9 of those side buttons.

I have heard a lot of complaints about acceleration in mice before, is it very noticeable?
