So I was chillaxing in the cavernous computer lab at my prestigious institution of learning with my brodogs, feeling like a million bucks. This is not an unusual practice here, so there were hundreds of people in the surrounding area. As I glanced casually over my shoulder, I noticed one of them was playing a familiar game. A familiar game that is in beta. A familiar game that I really desperately wanted to play, 'cause it's awesome.
So of course I dashed over, gave the guy a harsh bropound, and watched him play D3 for a while. It was beautiful, and I found myself drooling slightly while watching. Then he was all like "Bro, you wanna play?" And my face exploded.
And then this story takes a sad turn, because the wireless connection sucks in this area, and I kept DCing. I only managed to get about halfway to Old Tristram on my newly christened Demon Hunter "Herpydoo," before it logged out of battle.net entirely and I needed him to log me back in. Then, after continuing to struggle with lagginess, finally I had a class to go to and I could not continue on my noble quest.
This is not a tale of "omfg internet connection required sucks," I am actually a supporter of this feature. The shitty wireless was at fault here, and we were limited in our alternative options. This is a tale of sorrow, from someone who came so close to victory but failed
Ummhuh atleast you got to play some? I'm happy for you...lol
Well, it's like meeting Megan Fox, convincing her to come back to your hotel room, and then JUST as you're about to tap--BLAM! Your room is invaded by killbots.

I fail to see why being rescued from the clutches of Megan Fox by killbots is a fail.
Anyways, that's still more Beta than most of us have played, but I feel your pain, sometimes a taste makes it worse to have to wait for more.

I think everyone on the forums should write in this manner.
That would basically be me, if that happened.
