I pick up absolutely every item I come across. Most of them will be broken-down into mats, but I will try to keep some of the better ones to sell. However, I am a hoarder by nature and just know I will fill the stash with useless crap that I cant get rid of. I just need to buckle down and actually DE things, or sell them.
Maybe D3 will be able to break me of the hoarding habit.
Oh yeah, that made me remember. I have seen people pass by gray items and not pick them up. I WILL pick up every gray item and sell it. Every little bit of gold helps

At first I thought you meant grey as in socketed items, which wouldn't be a bad thing I guess.
But... to sell...? Oh you poor soul

I think he meant to use the...what was that thing called again? The little thing that you can transform items into gold...I guess that was what he meant to say...

"I am the Master of My Fate; I am the Captain of My Soul." by William Ernest Henley.
Hello all,
First post here. I used to lurk as a guest but finally took the time to make an account, but I digress.
I'll probably end up seeing myself somewhere around the middle. Keep things that I think are valuable and salvage the things that I know aren't. If I find out something isn't valuable that I thought was then I'll savage.
If I can use it for an alt I'll be keeping it as well.
I will fill any stash they give me, unless it's unlimited. Then I'll have to get a second account after filling all the mules
Given the relative size of the stash compared to character inventories, I'm not sure that muling will be as much use as it was in Diablo 2, but certainly if you want to use an entire account worth of slots, that will get you a good bit of storage. Man, that would be such a pain to keep track of though, you'd have to start having a database as to where different items are, or just have specific characters for specific things.
Blah. Sounds too much like work.

Materials do stack somewhat, runestones and gems probably don't (different ranks/lvls)
