i think its a nice addition, ive never been a fan of helm ets/hats on characters. as for the 'will it work in pvp' comment, i dont see why it shouldnt. your character doesnt go invisible, just doesnt show that piece of armor. and you dont judge a player on his gear, do you?

(this build was before D3 launched... looking back on it now - i had no idea what i was doing)
Also remember, most armor has 2 slots to dye, so ultimately, you can dye 1 part of the armor with invisible dye making the armor look pretty different.

Was this mentioned anywhere? In the emulated version of the beta there's only one part to dye. When you mouse over the dye it says "Right click to activate, left click an item to dye" and you get no choice of what part to dye.
I know if Rift there are two parts to dye on armour, but I don't think Diablo is doing the same, at least from what I've seen (anything could change before release, of course).
Pretty sure folks in end game gear will be pretty obvious.
Best gear is unique unless I am mistaken.
Even if you could memorize the original style and color, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to know the stats.

One is never hurt by being given additional choices, only by taking them away. A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
Strength glitching was a viable PvP tactic in Diablo II. You could render most, if not all, of your equipment invisible to other players had no idea what you were wearing and thus could not tell what kind of spec you were (Paladin: zealer? FoH? Hammerdin?).
Vanishing dye seems to allow this underground playstyle to return and also doubles up as an option to "hide helm" etc which has been widely requested.

Best gear will likely be legendary/Rare. I can see magic items competing as well as long as they can get the highest modifier rank. I say magic can compete if we take into account the Mystic Artisan. The Mystic can enchant items with various modifiers depending on the item and recipe for a cost.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
Please support them.

I'm sure blizzard has a non- perv reason for including these ingame
I like the idea, and also even when your character is "naked" they are still clothed enough so it doesn't seem perverted.
I like how on the page it says, "Causes materials to vanish before your very eyes! Be sure not to apply this to your undergarments."
But where did they tell us armour has two slots for dye?

Also if you really hate the large shoulder pieces, this is one way to get rid of them and still retain the benefits.
