Blizzard usually does CGI cinematics. Basically all animated. Ubisoft does cinematics with real-acting, and motion cap. That's what I mean by Ubi type cinematics (Assassin's creed cinematics are motion cap, and with real acting).
Would be the first time Blizzard steps away from CGI. Because as we can see from the images, the girl is not from CGI, well with a quick look it doesn't seem cgi.
EDIT : I took a closer look, and asked some people with who I work who does CGI animation and the girl eye is too shining, so that indicates it's most probably CGI.
Blizzard does use CGI for cinematic. Usually endgame or intros

Those are pretty standard Blizz cinematics. Their department is years ahead of everything else 3D.
I really hope the full cinematic is at Blizzcon. This seems like a tease indicating just that, but Blizz seems like they will do a lot of things that they delay D:
Blizzard has been steps ahead of most games graphics wise since forever. Just go watch the StarCraft Terran cinimatic, and remember that game came out in 1998. Compare that to any other games that came out in that same time period and you can see how advanced they have always been.
That portrait isn't confirmed to be Fetlock/Azmodan though. Someone just took the picture and named it Fetlock.
it was datamined from the client, so it's not that someone *just took the picture and named it Fetlock*
I have the datamined portraits, and all of the portraits are merged in two separate large pictures, and they have no labels on them, which means it's basically just guessing at this point.
This.
I didn't say it was guess work for no reason. All the portraits are just one big picture file they're not named.

What could this be for? It looks like a high CGI cinematic, they pushed the limit of quality higher.
Something for the Blizzcon, explaining what evil we will fight?

And it is not probably a cinematic, IT IS a cinematic.
