Last Friday I was confident we would see a date this week, given we are now past half way I'm going to go ahead and say its more likely to be next week if not further.

I was about in the same shoes but its definitely not this week which makes me think any of my hopeful "next week" hypothesizes are quite foolish. It will come and we will be glad, but man, its like a carrot on a stick; we are so close and we can run as hard and fast as we want, it won't come any faster.

The fact that you would spend so much time and energy saying nothing (as evidenced by the bulk of your posts) and yet can't be bothered to check your grammar... the mind boggles.
You should realize that while everyone posts in English, there are many people who aren't native English Speakers. So the grammar part is hard for them. Which, isn't it even hard even for Native Speakers?
On topic; My guess is a Monday Announcement. One problem for me though is that I will be away at a High School track meet for the majority of the day. So hopefully my iPhone will be fully charged and ready for web surfing if it is announced.

Well, we all recall Jay Wilson quoting us a '9' as to when to expect some new info.
Thats pretty much all relative to his interpretation of how long that qualifies to be. For him, that may mean a week (I think most would agree that would be reasonable) .. Or he might think that might be 2 weeks or even 3 weeks.
If we dont hear anything by the end of next week, I'll definitely go into panic mode and just accept something went wrong and its going to be awhile again.
I just realized why Blizzards forecasting is so horrible. They are the only company on the planet that actually was affected by the Y2K issue. Soon as they get that straightened out they'll be spot on in
their dates.
If they don't announce it until the weekend I think I'll just cryogenically freeze myself and ask someone to melt the ice once the release date is known.
