I find that "most" posts on these boards are actually mature and filled with content. Most gaming forums (created by the game) are filled with immature idiots trying to troll others and there is limited focus on actual content. That's the main reason why I decided after months of lurking to actually register here and start posting; the community.
Definitely here and other 3rd party forums I read, Battle.Net forums is full of QQ'ers.
I never knew anyone who actually liked arbok...fake ass claw viper...
lol anyways I agree, blizz forums seems to me like 90% of the posts I read are just a waste of my time. So ill just stay here and enjoy these much better forums
I feel like most people only post on the official forums as a means of feedback to the developers. They want to complain or ask for changes.
Here, however, there's a genuine desire for discussion and community.
So I'll be posting on the blizzard forums.
So i gotta be honest, i read through your post and really wasn't expecting the final line to say what it did. An equivalent sentence might read:
"Honey, we've had some great times, but things arent really working out. You and i are different people, and our love is growing apart. The passion that was once there is gone forever i fear. We've talked and i know you feel the same, that this relationship is definitely winding down. I think we should get married."
Glad to see such a loyalty here, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy (not too creepy, right?). This place would be nothin' without the awesome community which inhabits it :Thumbs Up:
“We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.” - Albert Einstein
Haven't read what people said on the other pages but...
When my post is targeting the community I'll post here where I know the community is mature and opinions are wide and varied. When I'm targeting game features and specifics I'll go to the Blizz site where the community managers can see the post and share their opinions/ways that Blizz have decided to go with it.
I will be sticking here. I have looked at the official forums from time to time, but they are full of people that know nothing about the Diablo franchise.
I like the look and features of the new official site but forget about entering "General Discussion"..... the threads are mostly 1 liners without ingredients. There are so many threads about NOTHING that I lost patience looking through them.
If the rating system they are implementing changes this then there might be hope to the official forums yet.
As for Diablo Fans... "MY NUMBER 1 SPEED DIAL" never to change!
The problem with the main D3 forums is that there are too many people and too few mods to look over the forum. There are good people there but they get drowned out by a few trolls quickly. Also many of the threads get lost to the next page.
I find that this forum is better for discussing Diablo related materials since for the most part the trolling is under control if it gets out of hand.
Great job to the staff at Diablofans to moderate when needed and also to the News team for bringing together the important news and to limit the rumors to a bare minimum.
Most of the threads I have seen at the main D3 site has been about give me beta or threads like that.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
Eh, who knows. Diablofans is ok as long as you don't mind the three or four people that think they know it all but have no clue. Hoping for an Ignore option.
for now, there isn't much choice.. it has been a long time since i played a blizzard game so i don't have any active characters on any of the games and the official BNet forums won't allow you to post anything w/o an active character.. when I get a D3 character going, it's possible to use those forums, but i probably still won't. I have always preferred fan sites to official ones.. they seem to have better content and more freedom
I'm pretty sure like a month after d3 comes out the blizzard forums will have some quality to them as people have gotten over the "DIS EENT MA D2 2.0!!@"!@~!!!!" effect. There will be some quality guides or build links or other information sources stickied their eventually.
And SOMEONE has to downvote all the troll posts on the official forums. I should really look in to building a bot to do that for me; that just downvotes all posts in the like first 2 weeks the game is out because the vast majority will be #$%%.

Whatever I choose, it surely won't be incgamers. I prefer the hard facts diablofans provides over the tabloid speculation that incgamers likes to front-page.

The mods here are active and strive to prevent that. I don't even have the official site bookmarked, this page is on my browser's "speed dial".

But I definitely don't plan to stop coming here.
