Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Went outside today, the graphics were ok. But the gameplay sucked
I really doubt it'll be a problem. In addition to what others have said, Blizzard mentioned that at some point in the future they want to add the option to sell characters on the RMAH. While I don't know how well that'll end up working out, I'm sure that will be enough of a reason to get some people to play new characters. With people being able to sell characters some could end up playing many more characters than the 10 slots we'll have.
I personally enjoy making new characters and trying to stick with one build throughout the characters life time. I still haven't respecced a character in D2 for that reason. I guess I'm irrational.

Logic and fun go hand in hand of course.
Obviously if you're having fun doing irrational things you should go get your head checked.
People were still playing normal 10 years after D2 came out. I dont think it will be a problem. The fact that you dont have to re-roll for a new spec might cut down a bit, but not too much I think.

In D2 there will still people playing normals... and the game is how old?
