Am I the only one who doesn't like that color ? I mean, it doesn't feel very Diablo-ish to me and I'd love Blizzard to drop that color from their palette.
I know I'm probably beating a dead horse, but it truly is something that bugs me. I don't think I recall seeing anything teal in Diablo 1 & 2.
Regarding OP, i feel that teal makes for a great gastly aura about him, and for the rest who say its not dark enough i personally like to see where im going, didnt everyone else get pissed off when it would turn night getting the Clawviper Temple?
Teal will be used for the same reason why any colour will be used.
I am going to say this once and only once: you are going to see the entire colour palette during your journey through Sanctuary. Yes. You will even see a unique monster that radiates with pink, just like in Diablo II. You will see teal. You will see bright yellow. Sometimes it will seem like a rave party is approaching you rapidly.
But you will also see scenery that is almost monochrome. Sepia-tone, even. You will see crude browns, bloodied scarlet, drowned navy blues and spine-tingling whites mixed with ruinous scenic elements.
I can guarantee you that you will see teal many more times in your adventure. We need to discard our favourite colours and accept that this is necessary for the sake of diversity in design. Diablo III is really set out to make every area and monster feel very fresh and different, even across multiple playthroughs. Personally I hate colours like white and orange, and love colours like purple, pink and black, but I am not going to feel any indifferent towards the colours of the enemies I face, barring the fact that a purple or pink enemy is more likely to grab my attention out of how cool they cool.
Though of course there is nothing stopping me from taking up pink threads with the dye system.
If people want everything to be emotastic then turn down the brightness of your monitor.

Yarly.
It looks good and needs no kind of job done on it. If you want a darker and more creepy look on your screen, by all means, go ahead and adjust your screen then!
No one is going to go out to get you just for having an opinion.
If we make every ethereal being some form of ghostly white/grey, then the experience will just start to feel mundane and less interesting... and ultimately less-Diablo considering the variety we had seen in the previous two entries.

Am I being too picky ?

Not sure what else there is to say on the topic. It's up to personal preferences.

But the game looks better then I expected, so w/e.
But there's not Teal in that picture. It really is just about that color IMO
It worked great for Mephisto
It didn't look bad, but it wasn't perfect either. I kinda prefer the new version. As I said before, personal preference.

I understand, I just wanted to know if I was the only one hating on this particular color, although I really think it looks amazing on the WD.

I prefer this one. The ghostly feel is improved IMO and there's no abuse of teal.
The white kinda seems more "holy ghost" to me.
I guess it worked for Mephisto to some extent because Mephisto wasn't a ghost.
