It's 10: 23pm EST/GMT -5. It's been two hours since I noticed. Just checked my US Battle.net Account. The StarCraft II icons, text and links are now back to normal. Kinda interesting because while the account management page was down, people were still be able to play the game. Sort of a stealthy website server maintenance.
Either they are preparing for a StarCraft II PTR, or they are performing some unknown website maintenance.
It's still missing for me, but only on the US Battle.net! When I login on the European Battle.net, it's there.
Guys, here's my opinion. I think it's a little shady that this information disappeared randomly like this. This is not a coincidence.
I do web design for a living, and I took a look at the source code. This is obviously server code being generated, and it looks like it's been divided up into three sections: WOW, BNet 2.0 games, and Classic Games.
Now-- IF this is related to Diablo 3 (and not SC2), this structure makes sense. What they probably did, in order to place in the graphics and text for the Diablo 3 game bars, was cut out the section of their server code that prints the BNet 2.0 games.
I'd imagine this would be as a security measure in order to prevent people from trying to do code injects, etc.. to see unrevealed content (D3). Then again, this could just be maintenance to something Starcraft 2 related.
But it's sure fun to speculate
