Do you understand that Blizzard doesn't even consider taking your feedback ?
In the beta, you can't even test the goddamn rune system, the most important part of game. You also can't go past level 6-7. You can't test the Real-Money AH because nobody will buy beta items and if they use fake money then you don't test the economy for real. So you can be sure that whatever system they go with, it's gonna be post-release.
So is this new ? It seems Blizzard didn't go the "PUSH DOWN YOUR THROAT" style as much as this before. And with all the changes so late, it almost feel like the game changed direction.
Did something happen ?
I'm really lost. I just don't feel like I respect Blizzard philosophy as much as I did yesterday. You know "Make the best games for the players, players are first!". For example : "We won't support PVP because we don't want Diablo 3 to be an esport."???? Before they would have said "If that's what the players want, we will give them!"
What happened? Their investors are angry? They got a speech? Someone died? Just, wtf.
I personally dont understand the PVP stance. I mean what do they think kept people playing for so long? Gearing up to blow up monsters 1 click faster loses it's appeal very quickly. Then you turn to hardcore. Thats a rush and a blast for awhile until you either make 1 too many without beating the game, or you beat the game and gear him up somewhat.
Most everyone turns to pvp at some point because it was simple and easy. Most people bought items to pvp with. Did you really need a better sword to further 1 shot packs of mobs?
I think they are missing the point of why it stayed popular. If pvp had more focus I might actually use that 100 dollar item I just found, but more then likely I'll just keep rocking my magical and rare items if they get the job done and cash in on everything else.
I spent real money to pvp. I will not spend real money to pve. And if pvp is just some fragfest with 0 appeal, I wont spend any money this time either, and just make money till I get bored.
I feel sorry for those wanting the PvP experience; but this kind of loot game isn't really a PvP-fest.
PvP is far from what sustains this game, true. I think the majority of D2 players weren't PvP, yet the PvP enthusiasts still seem to be the most vocal lately among the D3 critics.

Before yesterday it was a thousand ways to customize your character...
Now it is practically none.
You can customize your character with purchased gear.
