Okay so I have just found out more about the picture, my brother who is a technical graphic designer he is very intelligible in this area. He told me while the image has been edited in some way and there for not the orginal the picture is most likely real. It is possible to recreate the image in a photoshop program but in his expert opinion he believes it is real. It would take alot of time and a well thought out plan to create such an image but it is possible.

or just... photoshop the image, put it on your computer screen, then take a blurry photo of it.
The photo might be real, the image on the computer screen is not.
But Flux has been known to post false information as well...
lol Flux didn't even get to go what does he know..he can claim to have an inside source just as much as I can...but since he didn't get officially invited I would just ignore what he has to say
My god I hope that twitter guy linked to from page one in this thread is fake. Monks with shields, say whaaat?! If so, I don't wanna play it as my first char anymore. Maybe not at all to be honest... Luckily there's the DH!
edit: Ok, so I read the tweets last night and noticed just now that the guy basically confesses he's fake. Cool! (Avatar of Azurewrath, really? He might as well have called it Avatar a la Azurewrath, or AzureAnger, lol)
i hate to disappoint you but the monk has already been confirmed to have shields from blizz, its in the artisan announcement video too.

That being said, just don't toss on a shield. Don't let that be a barrier. It'd be silly to put aside a class you like because of an item they can, by choice, equip. Their philosophy behind allowing the monk to use a shield I think has to do with trying to keep item type limits to a minimum. To be honest I would rather it be that way, allowing myself to make the choice, rather than pre-set restrictions. This allows for a greater number of builds and play-style approaches.
Another rumor going around the incgamers site is that there will be something in Diablo III that will monetize the game. It supposedly won't be pay-to-play, but something that you can spend your money on to enhance your experience.
Skeptical, but wouldn't be surprised. Vanity items, anyone?

Interesting. I guess maybe on Monday we will know better about it. I know some(most?) will bemoan paying for anything but the game itself but I am interested to see what this talk may be about. Hrmmm
