So, i know im not the only one. I realy want to get into this beta!
I played diablo 1 in gradeschool, d2 in highschool and after 8-9 years it is still my favorite Saturday morning games.
I Love the lore, I named my pet Garbod (the weak) and if i had another i would name it Lochdonan. I totaly adore blizz games and I want them to succeed.
Any one know anything that I can do to help blizzard and participate in this beta.
I have a registered diablo 2 game on my battlenet account and a beta profile, any one know anything else I could be doing?
I have terrible luck with getting into Blizz betas with keys, but they're probably gonna have the preorder-to-get-a-beta-key deal as well. So if all else fails, there's that.
I would trade all my past and future betas for a D3 key
Hehe, the fun thing about preorder beta keys is that you can preorder the game, get the key, then cancel the preorder xD Not that anyone should do that with D3. I mean who would cancel that preorder...

The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn’t...
I'm a WoW player (or used to be) and I promise, my beta key won't be wasted
In that case here ya go! Just kidding.

I stopped playing WoW about six months ago, but just recently got into minecraft. 2 years ago when d3 was announced I nearly pissed my pants in excitement and, if possible, still am pissing my pants with excitement, and I will get a beta key if I can help it. If not, then I will still buy and enjoy the game, with more surprises at the beginning

I would love to get beta *hence why I upgraded my computer out of speculation* But I dont know if I will have the heart to watch the beta played on youtube if I dont get in... I think that it will ruin the experience. Unless they really did take out A LOT of content in the beta.

Cruel, plain cruel.
In all seriousness, there are few things you can really do to increase your chances of getting a Beta invite. Stalking fan sites, some game commentators on youtube may have a Beta giveaway, Blizzard may even have a contest (unlikely). If you don't roll that lucky 7, you can bet that all the Beta coverage you'll need will be here on Dfans :D.
As for who I feel should get an invite, simply people who will help contribute to the end result of the game. Things such as reporting every, single, glitch; purposely trying to find loop holes in systems, and reporting them if they do, and sharing their experiences with the rest of the Diablo fans out there. If you get a beta invite, you should feel a sense of pressure mixed in with your excitement and fun. Betas exist only to help the company polish the game, and maybe a little for hype. It's our responsibility as fans, and gamers to do everything we can to make this the best game it can be.

Dude that's totally what I want to do. I want to comb over the game. Every map, every moster, every skill, and see how it all works together, or doesn't. I know what I want from this game and I know that blizzard can totally pull it off and more with or without my help... but still if someones building the pyramids in my neighborhood, i want in :D!
Blizzard "needs" people with no motive other than helping them dish-out the best game possible, so that's what im gonna do... if called upon lol. as well as stalk d2 fan sites
I keep checking and un-checking the Beta preference option for Diablo 3. Part of me wants to play asap. Another part of me, the part that has waited 10+ years for this, feels that waiting until the finished game is ready to play it would be the best option and ensure the most exciting playthough the first time.
