I'm not that sad at all. I mostly like the D3 classes so far.
And for the guys who dislike the barbarian return. Try to think this way:
The very reason they broght back the barb is because he was not very polished in D2. For those who didn't like him because of that (including me) will have a chance to like him now. The new barbarian is completly different from D2. In D2 he have 2/3 of his skills dedicated to passive/buff effects and part of the other 1/3 are just a variation of a ordinary normal attack. But now everything about him is movement and impact. He can jump and charge across the screen dealing damage at the same time. He have more then one skill to hit multiple enemies at distance. He will no longer be just a meatball killing stuff one by one with ridicolous melee attacks.
New character classes means new lore describing their background, so I'm excited for that. But I hope that they still give lore regarding the old characters especially the Amazon and Paladin.
How was the barb not polished? The class is fine...it just wasn't for me. I think totally remodeling it is going to take away from the nostalgia of D2. The barb shouldn't just change.

As i said in my post.
The barbarian have a entire tree to passive, and this just sucks because they are completly poor in terms of gameplay.
Also the warcry tree is very poor in gameplay because the best warcries are just buffs (that are almost poor as passives). The debuff creis are fun to use, but they are unfortunnely too weak.
The last tree that should really contributes to the barbarian gameplay don't. Theres are to many skills that are nothing but a variation of a normal attack (bash, stum, concentrate, etc..). So what makes the barbarian gameplay more complex then choosing icons in your desktop is only 2 skills: leap attack and whirlwind. Unfortunelly leap r kind underpowered.
So, in a charactr that have a total of 30 skills only ONE add real interesting gameplay concept to the class.
Thats why i'm saying the barbarian is unpolished. Besides that, one of the earliest quotes about D3 is about how the barbarian could be vastly improved from D2 to D3 unlike the other classes, and thats the reason of his return.

How can you not want 25 summons cluttering your screen They are your "cute" little pets, that kills demons! You are the general, they are your army. You are the pimp, they are your biatches. You are the icecream, they are the sprinkles.
You get the idea
I am sorely indebted to those who express that which i lack the words to describe.
i know me too i played the necro till like level 55 and i got bored of him...ill make a witchdoctor, but he'll probably be my last class to make...Witchdoctor probably will be fun because of the skills and how its you know...DIABLO 3...but like i said probably last one to make
And i wont miss the old classes i always want something new and amazing but the barb deserved to come back hes awesome and they made him even more awesome=amazing
and it is always fun exploring new classes and new designs
It was a joke about a possible necromancer mercenary that would summon 25 + creatures on your screen !:necro:
Necros were fun, but they were old ! They died, too many years have passed ...
Oh ok !! But I doubt you will have to pay for resurect your merc. And IF you have a summoner merc it's obvious you don't have to pay for his pets... lol

They will be back in some sort of way in a DIII expansion (Cross my fingers)
Damn it you don't know how I hope not !!
I'm satisfied by WD and I don't want another similar character !!
The Knights of Westmarch and cult of Rathma still exist, so the chances of coming across a paladin and/or necromancer through your travels are pretty good.
I 100% agree with you.
Since Release

Yeah. I hope we visit his grave in D3 (and a bunch of his minion pop out from the cemitery and help you as followers).

So, yes. We will see them somewhere and possibly as a hired merc.
As enemies ? O.o
Or randomized allied followers in special "adventures"? (this one would be sweet !!)
Yeah.. That would be very nice and a very good way to please our nostalgy for the old characters.
I agree with this. Although new characters would make for more interest level among people i would imagine.
